3rd Person POV:

It's been about 3 days since their adventure with Buizel and his gang with the group doing just as well. They had made some serious ground these last few days and while they are still pretty far from Luz's next gym, they had gotten closer.

Right now, they were taking a small lunch break before heading back on the road. Not camping out or anything, just a quick break to let their legs relax and have their Pokémon play around a bit.

Currently, after they ate all their food, Luz and Willow were having a battle at the moment. It was Marowak versus Bulbasaur and it seemed to be reaching the climax of the fight. "Bulbasaur, use Razor Leaf!" Willow commands as the Seed Pokémon listened to what its trainer said and executed the move. This causing an assortment of leaves to come out of its bulb as they head straight towards Marowak.

"Spin your bone to reflect them." The latina says as the Bone Keeper Pokémon gives a cry of its name before doing so, spinning its bone and getting rid of the leaves that were heading towards it. "Alright, now let's finish this off with Shadow Bone." Marowak nods before running towards its opponent, a purple flame igniting on top of his bone as he does so.

"Bulbasaur, use Vine Whip to stop Marowak!" The grass and poison type tries to accomplish its trainers command, but the Marowak is able to dodge between its vines and get right in front of it. The Bone Keeper Pokémon instantly then hit Bulbasaur straight on the head with his bone as its opponent gives a cry of pain as well as cause a small black cloud of smoke to appear.

When the cloud dissipates, it reveals Marowak with his arms crossed as a fainted Bulbasaur is right behind him. "Bulbasaur is unable to battle, meaning that Marowak is the winner." Gus announces as he points his arm towards Luz and Marowak.

The latina just smiled as she hugged her fire and ghost type. "Great job Marowak!" The only response her Pokémon gives her is a chuckle as he hugs her back.

"You did great as well Bulbasaur." Willow says as she holds the Seed Pokémon in her arms as it gave a happy, yet quiet, cry of its name. "You deserve a good rest." The witch then tapped its Poké Ball on its forehead as it returned inside.

Gus then started grabbing his bag as he also returned Zorua into his Poké Ball. "I think we can make it to the next Pokémon Center if we continue on the road now. So we should probably start going." The boy suggests as he puts his partner Pokémon's Poké Ball in his pocket.

"Good idea Guster, let's go everyone." Luz says as she returns both Oshawott and Rowlet into their Poké Balls with the only Pokémon she plans on keeping out is Eevee due to her new hatred to her Poké Ball, not even wanting to be in it for second. Willow doing the same for Vileplume as she puts both of her Pokémon's Poké Balls in her pocket. "Alright, your turn Marowak."

But right before she could tap his Poké Ball on his forehead, a sudden cry from an unidentified Pokémon was heard from afar. This catching everyone's attentions, especially Marowak's who started running towards where the cry came from.

"Wait, come back Marowak!" Luz says as she runs towards her newest Pokémon. Gus and Willow just look at each other before nodding and following their traveling buddy.

As the three trainers try to catch up to the Bone Keeper Pokémon, they see him start to go into what looks like a ginormous cave with no end. This makes the group gulp before looking at each other, sure if they should do this. But Luz remembers how Eda out her trust in her to keep Marowak safe so that's exactly what she will as she goes inside the cave, her two friends following along.

For awhile, the three were running through the cave with no sight of Marowak. This scared Luz as she didn't want to lose one of her Pokémon, especially like this. But thankfully, they started hearing a sound similar to something hitting a boulder. After hearing it for a couple of seconds, Luz instantly recognized it as Marowak's bone and started following the sound with her friends in tow.
