3rd Person POV:

It's a new day for the two trainers and they were just packing up camp. After about two days of having it, they decided that it was finally time to get back on the road and keep heading towards Callabrook City for the Plant Coven Gym.

It took them a bit, but they eventually got everything packed back into Luz's bag and started to get back on the road. It starts as silence between the two, but eventually was ended by Gus as he saw Rowlet in her bag sleeping. "So, why do you still have Rowlet out of its Poké Ball? Eevee I can understand, but Rowlet so far has kinda just been sleeping."

"Well I just think that it's easier to bond with a Pokémon if they are outside with you." This makes Gus nod as he looks to the ground, seeing Zorua walking next to his legs.

"If you keep doing that then at the point you've got six Pokémon, you're going a whole crowd following you." They both chuckle from the idea.

"Don't worry, this isn't going to be happening all the time, except for Eevee of course. Just when I first catch them so it doesn't feel like they just joined a strangers team with no bound. Besides, I imagine a Poké Ball to be very comfortable." Luz says as she day dreams of what could possibly be inside those things. A room? A house? An entire other world! Maybe that's just her theorist brain going wild, but she couldn't stop thinking about it.

"Guess we'll never really know. That is unless we try to catch each other in a Poké Ball." Gus jokes as Luz scratches her head from this statement.

"Well, maybe-"

Before being able to finish her sentence, Eevee, who was on top of the trainers head like usual, put her tail over Luz's mouth. This made Luz instantly shut up as she pushed Eevee's tail out of her face. "Okay, okay, it was just a joke. Kinda..." Luz whispering the last part, making sure no one else heard.

Well clearly she sucked because Eevee still heard her.

But the Pokémon decided to let it go and not make a huge fuss about it, just rolling her eyes. The normal type then looked down at the owl that was still sleeping in her trainers backpack and got an idea.

She moved her tail down to the face of Rowlet, not as harshly as she did with Luz though as it was a lot more soft as to not wake him up. She then started wagging her tail against the beak of the grass and flying type which made it make some adorable faces. This amused Eevee and it continued to do so, getting new expression out of the owl every time.

This kept Luz's Pokémon occupied during the walk as the two trainers continued to make jokes between each other. Were they all funny. Hell no. But they thought they were and that's all that mattered to them.

This left our dark type of the squad, Zorua, having not much to do. As a result to this, the fox like Pokémon started getting very bored just having to walk next to its trainers foot. At this point, Zorua was a bit jealous that Eevee was just able to sit on her trainers head. Zorua also wanted to, but Gus said that walking would be more beneficial and while he wasn't wrong, that didn't stop the dark type from getting slightly annoyed.

But, that's when he heard something.

Something that came from what looked to be a ginormous bush.

This made Zorua tilt its head from confusion as it went over to check it out. As he was walking closer to the bush, Gus and the rest of the group didn't even notice this was happening. That was until Zorua accidentally stepped on a branch that got the attention of everyone, even waking up Rolwet and making him look out the backpack.

Gus could sense that something wasn't right here so he was about to call out to the dark type Pokémon. But he a little too late as almost instantly a Shadow Claw hit Zorua which yes is not very-effective, but was just so strong that it didn't matter and made Zorua get pushed right into the arms of Gus.
