"No one expects an angel to set the world on fire."

Miguel spent most of the night puking his brains out into the toilet while Michelle sat next to him and listened to him drunkenly bitch about Sam and the loser she brought to the party. While Michelle had been enjoying the company of James by the water, not only did Miguel happen to punch his girlfriend while trying to fight the guy she went with, but Aisha successfully gave Yasmine a well deserved front wedgie to end the night. Happy fucking birthday bitch.

The twins now stood outside of the arena with the rest of Cobra Kai. Michelle was next to Aisha as they all watched Miguel aggressively punch the air with an angry look on his face. Bert and Eli both turned to Michelle with a questioning look to which she just pursed her lips together and shook her head.

"Yo Miguel. Calm down man. Save some for the tournament," Eli said to him. Miguel just gave him a look and continued to punch the air.

"Hey, don't even bother. He's been pretty aggro ever since the breakup," Aisha said.

"Where's sensei? The tournaments gonna start soon," Eli asked.

"He'll be here," Aisha replied.

"I don't know about that," Bert said while looking at the ground.

As Bert went on to explain how he saw sensei Lawrence drunkenly screaming and pissing at the world, Michelle felt her phone vibrate.

James Hunter

Good luck out there Cobra.
I'll be in the stands.
Show them what you're made of.

Michelle Diaz

Thank you! <3

Michelle smiled as she put her phone back into her pocket. She made brief eye contact with Eli as he shook his head and looked away. She zoned out the rest of the conversation as she thought about James sitting in the stands. He came to watch her at her first tournament. Now she was nervous.

"Do what without me?" Johnny asked. Michelle finally looked up and saw him walking towards them with a bag hanging on his shoulder. She couldn't help but smile when she saw him.

"We didn't think you would show up," Eli said.

"I may not always win but i never back out of a fight," Johnny replied.

Miguel finally jumped out of his angry trance and walked over to the group. "Great. Lets sign up."

"Not yet. There's one more lesson i have to teach you," Johnny replied. They all looked around at each other with confused looks on their faces as they followed him into the lobby of the arena. They formed a big circle around him. Somehow, Michelle found herself standing between Eli and Aisha, but her eyes were glued onto Johnny.

"Youve all learned to strike first, to be aggressive, not be losers. I taught you to strike hard, put every ounce of your power behind everything you do. But I haven't taught you the third rule of Cobra Kai. No Mercy."

Michelle looked down at her feet. She remembered reading somewhere that "a merciless person was not a human but a beast." Could that be true? Johnny continued to walk around the circle as he spoke.
