Cobra Kai was bustling with excitement after winning the brawl at the arcade. So much so, that while they were instructed to stretch before class, they couldn't stop themselves from bragging to the other students about the incident. Including breaking Demetri's arm, although Michelle noticed that Eli simply looked down at his feet and kept his mouth shut when everyone started to praise him for it.

Michelle understood. She wasn't one to brag about anything either but he was acting weird. They had won, so why the long face? She was about to voice those concerns when Tory spoke first.

"I didn't think you were actually gonna do it," she said walking up to him. Eli stopped stretching to talk to her.

"They got what they deserved for what they did to Miguel," Eli said.

Michelle chuckled to herself as she finished her stretch.

"He cried like a fucking baby," She whispered but Eli heard her. He looked over at her cautiously and then back over to Tory who had gotten quiet and looked at the ground at the mention of Miguel.

"You still haven't seen him yet, have you?" He asked.

Tory looked over at Michelle who was already looking at her with curiosity. Had she really not gone to see him yet? After all this time?

"I don't want to talk about it," she replied simply.

Interesting.

But then again, he did cheat on her with that skank bitch so could she really blame her?

As Michelle watched Tory walk away, the door of the dojo opened to reveal the absolute worst group of humans to have ever entered the dojo. Kyler and his goons happily sauntered in, observing some students and already laughing at others.

Michelle looked up at Eli to see his jaw clenched and his breathing got heavy. She reached over and grabbed his arm gently.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked quietly.

"They shouldn't be here," He said just as Kreese walked out of the office.

"Class. Welcome our new students," Kreese said loudly.

Assface walked up to them confidently.

"I'm gonna call you guys chodenose and taintbreath."

"What the hell did you just say?" Kyler said getting into his face.

"Oh, uh, nothing. It's just this thing we do here sometimes," Mitch said.

Kyler quickly jumped at him, scaring him into walking back over to his spot as the new students laughed. Michelle felt Eli leave her side to talk to Kreese.

But that's when she heard the voice.

It couldn't be. There was no way in hell that that idiot would even try to get into cobra kai...right?

Wrong.

She could hear his laughter clear as day and as she looked through the group of new students and made eye contact with the person she hated the most, her heart dropped and her breath hitched in her throat.

Fucking James.

A smirk plastered itself on his face when he noticed the glare that Eli was giving him from next to the sensei.
