The twins arrived at the beach along with Aisha and found their friends at the Volleyball net. Michelle instantly threw down her towel next to Aisha  who had decided to lay next to Moon's towel.

Michelle was silent the entire drive there. Not only did Johnny piss her off by lying to her and her brother, but James couldn't hang out with her that day because he had to babysit his sister again. His mom just couldn't help taking extra shifts at the hospital.

"Mulligan, Send it back," Michelle heard Demetri say to Eli as she settled down on her towel. Moon, Demetri and Eli had decided that they would try their luck in a game of beach volleyball. It was not going well at all.

Eli put his hands on his hips and made a face at Demetri who was on the other side of the net. "There's no mulligans in volleyball."

"Says you. Water break," Demetri replied with attitude. Michelle and Aisha burst out laughing at the look on Eli's face. Its no secret that Demetri was the weirdest person that they had ever met, but they all loved him anyway. How could you not?

After setting up his towel, Miguel sauntered over to Eli and started up a conversation. Moon walked over to the girls and waved happily while Michelle dug her sunglasses out of her bag.

"Hey girls! I brought some drinks," Moon said to them. She walked to the large cooler that was on the other side of her stuff and pulled out a few cans of spiked lemonade and handed them out. Michelle nodded her head to her in 'thanks' and pulled out her phone.

James <3

I'm sorry i cant be there babe.
I hope you have fun though.
Maybe we could hang out tomorrow?

Michelle <3

Yeah. Maybe.
FT tonight?

James <3

Sure thing.
Now go enjoy the beach with your friends beautiful.

Michelle put her phone away and chugged the entire can of spiked lemonade just as the boys decided to sit down in front of them and chat about Robby Keene. Moon threw another can Michelle's way with a kind smile on her face.

"Everything okay?" She asked sweetly. God, it was so hard to hate her.

"Yeah. Just peachy," Michelle replied sarcastically.

She wasn't trying to be rude. Her mood was just floating dangerously between anger and sadness so it was hard to keep her sarcasm at bay. To ease any tension that her reply might have created, Michelle raised the can up to the girls who then raised theirs up to her in 'cheers' and chugged the rest of their drinks. Once they had successfully drunk the last of their cans, she grabbed Aisha and Moon's hands and dragged them up.

"Lets go swim!" She yelled. The girls giggled and followed her to the water.

The girls spent the rest of the afternoon going between swimming, playing volleyball with the boys and soaking up the sun while laying on their towels. Michelle even managed to drown out the boys whenever they spoke about Johnny and Robby so her day went from being bad to being the best fun shed had in a while.
