"Hey, where have you been?" You asked Chaeryeong as she walked through the front door. "I know the comeback is approaching but I could've sworn you said that you didn't have practice or anything today."

"I didn't." She replied as the corners of her lips tugged into a smile.

You noticed that she had a hat on and her long hair must've been wrapped up and tucked inside it because you couldn't see her usual long dark locks flowing down her back.

She came over to stand in front of you and you could just see that she was about to burst with excitement.

"Is everything okay?"

"More than okay. I just thought you'd like to see what I did today."

She sat down beside you and just as you were about to reach for her hand, she moved it to take off her hat.

And when she did, you couldn't help but gasp at what she'd clearly spent the entirety of the day doing.

Her hair was blonde.

It's not the first time she's dyed her hair, of course.

But this was a completely unexpected thing done by her and you couldn't get over how good she looked.

"Well... what do you think?" She asked with a bright smile as she let her hair down, the now beautiful blonde shade flowing past her shoulders.

For a second, all you could do was stare and admire her.

"I didn't think I could fall even more in love with you or that you could possibly get any more gorgeous but I was so wrong. Baby, you look so stunning!"

She just grinned as you reached out to caress her cheek and then brushed your fingers through her blonde hair.

"I love this color on you!"

"I'm going to go platinum soon but this is the shade of blonde I have for now. You like it, huh?"

"I love it. Your fans are going to love it too!"

She giggled happily as you continued to admire her.

"You take my breath away."

"Thank you, darling,"

You leaned in and softly kissed her lips before you began to kiss her jaw.

"I can't ever get enough of you but now you're blonde and I'm so obsessed." You whispered against her skin as her cheeks turned red and heated up a little.

Your words brought her immense happiness and made her heart skip a beat.

"I knew you'd love it."

"I do... so very much. I hope your hair stays this color for a while."

"It will." She promised as you moved back up to kiss her lips.

"And next time, please tell me when you're going to dye your hair so I can prepare a little. You make me so weak in the knees."

She laughed before kissing the corners of your lips.

As she pulled you closer, you brushed your fingers through her long blonde hair and just took your time to admire her insane breathtaking beauty.

"Where's the fun in that though, darling? I love making you weak in the knees." She lovingly teased.

She laid down on the sofa and pulled you close as you set your head on her chest and twirled her blonde hair around your fingers while gazing at her adoringly, wondering how on earth ever got so lucky.
