"It's so beautiful here. I wish we could stay here forever." You told Chaeryeong as you sat down on the ground beside her, dipping your toes in the water.

"Me too." She said as you put your head on her shoulder.

The stars were shining bright in the sky as you held onto each other and enjoyed your time together in Jeju.

The trip was a surprise to you but you, of course, happily agreed to take some time away with Chaeryeong here.

You figured it was just her needing some quality time with you away from the media and the hecticness that comes with being an idol.

And while that was true, she also has something special up her sleeve and she couldn't see it taking place anywhere but here.

"We'll have to come here for more vacations in the future. Maybe even a honeymoon."

"Honeymoon?" You asked with a smile and looked at her. "I'd like that. Whenever that day comes."

"I think it'll be a lot sooner than you think." She said as she shifted around on the ground.

You didn't think much of it until she softly spoke your name and when you turned your head to look at her, you saw her down on one knee.

You gasped and placed your hand over your mouth as she took your other hand into her shaky one.

"I've been wanting to do this for so long now and I couldn't think of a more romantic place to do it than here." She said as she took a deep breath.

She had to blink a few times so she wouldn't cry just yet because her heart was so full of love and this moment met the world to the both of you.

However, seeing her down on one knee in front of you in the most beautiful place as she holds your hand and prepares to ask you to be her wife was too much for you and the tears fell from your eyes without any control.

"I love you so much, Y/N, and all I want in life is to be with you forever. I want you to be my wife. I want to grow old with you and live out all the dreams we have together. I want to spend the rest of my life by your side, falling even deeper in love with you every minute of every day. So..." She paused as she pulled the ring out from behind her back. "Will you marry me?"

You didn't have to think about it for even a second.

"Yes!" You screamed excitedly.

She grinned from ear to ear through the blur of her tears before she stood up.

As she put the ring on your finger, she pulled you in for a sweet kiss as you both cried tears of happiness together.

"I can't wait for you to be my wife." She said as she brought you into her arms.

"I can't wait for you to be my wife, baby." You spoke as you squeezed her tightly, swearing that this moment was the greatest moment of your life.

And you'd never forget it, no matter what.
