(Zuri's) Omniscient POV:
It was 9 PM and Zuri laid in Akires arms in his room with nothing but her bra and panties on. If no one remembers from earlier in the story, Akire is Marty's best friend, and had been Zuri's little crush since the day at the jewelry store.
To give more context, Zuri and Akire had been talking since that day in the jewelry store and they had even been meeting up. Zuri didn't want to tell Devyn anything yet until she knew that Akire was really the one though, as she thought Devyn would judge her heavily.
Although now that she laid here in his arms as he slept, and after they had had sex for the 5th time, she concluded that Akire was a really good catch.
She sighed but smiled as she felt Akire hold her tighter.
"You still up?" He asked her with a rasp to his voice. "Yeah, I can't sleep." She replied turning over to face him. Akire looked at his TV which was on standby mode to check the time: 2:47 AM. He chuckled
"It's been like an hour since i feel asleep." He said. Zuri smiled. "I know but I just can't." She replied, trying to tease a hint that Akire was just not getting.
"You want a melatonin gummy or sumn?" He asked. Zuri thought for a second. "You tryna fuck again?" She asked him. He didn't say anything, instead he just smirked before pulling the covers over their head.

It was now the evening sundown as Zuri and Akire hung out at a small secluded park near the beach. The now couple were having a picnic at the park to celebrate them becoming a couple.
Akire had asked Zuri to be his girlfriend 2 days ago, and had asked her with a promise ring.
Like almost everyone else at school, Akire was rich, so it made sense that his ring for Zuri was one that was diamond increased and shined in the sundown of the sun.
They talked all evening as they ate food that Akire had had one of his chefs prepare for them.
Akire and Zuri smiled at each other as Akire fed Zuri a strawberry. The moment was intimate and sweet as they enjoyed the food, view, and each other's company.
Akire drove Zuri home that night. He stopped on the curb of the street before parking and turning to Zuri.
"I had a really great time today.." she said as she smiled softly. Akire smiled back at her.
"Yeah? I was hoping you'd say that. I wasn't sure if the park idea was too... simple."
Zuri laughed softly. "Sometimes simple is better. Plus, I like you so it was fun no matter what." She responded.
