“Boss, we found this at Gemini's”

P'First didn't intend to keep this news to himself. As soon as he said goodbye to the boys, he immediately went to visit their division leader, P'Off. Fortunately, the boss was in his office. First greeted them politely and sat down on the chair in front of his desk. P'Off listened attentively to his story about the items discovered in Norawit's room.

“And you're sure this doesn't belong to your cousin?”

“Yes, boss, there's no way Nong Fourth would keep something like this in their shared room. I think there's more to it”.

“It's good that you came to me with this. Send me those photos. I'll have a task for you: you have to take Gemini and Fourth out for a walk so my men have time to thoroughly search their room”.

“Is that necessary?” First was concerned. The plan seemed simple, but it also required him to “trick” his cousin, to whom he couldn’t reveal that he had given the information to the boss.

“Unfortunately, yes. You did well, nong First. Well, you should go now.  Let me know when you take the boys for a walk, I have to inform my people”.

First bowed low and left the boss's office. In the hallway, he met Mixxiw, Khaotung's older brother by a year. He exchanged a few words with him about the next day's schedule of activities with animals and came up with the idea of taking Gemini and Fourth to the gardens. According to information from Dr. Jimmy and Dr. WanDee, Fourth's pregnancy was not high-risk, which meant he could take a little risk and do some easy tasks, even take on some challenges.

First didn't reveal to anyone else what he suspected, even in the presence of his cousin he pretended to believe Norawit.

The next day, he took the boys to the gardens, where the magical animals were already waiting for them. Gem's pegasus, Hope, as usual, ran up to him, demanding snacks and petting. The other students of the Knights Academy gathered in the gardens.  Lights. The weather was beautiful, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the sun twinkled merrily in the grass.

Gemini tried to lead Fourth by putting his arm around his waist, but Nattawat pushed him away so hard that Gem staggered and fell into a nearby tree.

“What's wrong with you today, Nattawat?!” He hissed, annoyed.

“I'm fine. You don't have to hang around me like that. I don't like it. Besides, I don't want others to know. P'First said that only a few people know about... well, me, I'd rather keep it that way”.

Gemini shrugged, but he felt offended. He didn't like anyone to contradict him. And personally, he thought that who knew about it no longer mattered. What's more, he was sure that it had been rumored from the very beginning.  He expected hostile or judgmental glances, accusatory whispers, but none of that happened. Each student was absorbed in his own work, and only Phuwin and Prim paid any attention to them.

Phuwin gave them a warm smile, and Prim waved her hand in greeting.

It seemed that everything was fine.

Meanwhile, at the request of the head of the Knights of Light branch in Thailand, three of the boss's most trusted people entered the apartment shared by Gem and Fourth: Professor Earth Pirapat, P'Milk, and Gun Atthaphan.

Gun, as a vampire, immediately sensed that the specific smell of blood was coming not only from the cardboard box in which Gemini kept those strange objects reminiscent of devil worship, but also from under the bed. Gun looked there and after a short while he pulled out a slightly dusty, old journal covered in piece of white cloth full of red and brown stains. It was obvious that the notebook was very old, the pages were yellowed, and the ink was brown instead of black or blue. There were also sketches in the notebook. Gun noticed the date in the corner of one of the pages: 1886.
