CHAPTER 39: HEAVEN
SORCHA'S POV
There was something different with the way Daze kissed me. It wasn't like before, when the kiss was more of an exploration. It wasn't like those times when it felt like we were running out of time. It wasn't done in a hurry, and instead Daze is taking his precious time like we have all the time in the world while I feel like I'm going to self-combust at any moment.
It's like he's no longer fearing that someone would see us or that we needed to go back to pretending that we weren't doing anything. Like he's telling me that there's no one to stop us now.
Not even ourselves.
A soft moan slipped from my mouth when I felt his finger rub the seam of my sex. We're both still fully clothed, and yet I'm already dripping wet.
"Too much?" he murmured against my lips.
I let out a groan when he stopped. Instead of answering him, I pushed him on his shoulders, taking him by surprise when I straddled him.

"I don't need protection."

This time, he bit my lower lip before teasing the pain away with his tongue. "You're not. But you will be." Marahang hinila niya ako paangat sa kaniya. "But first, I need you to come here so I can help you calm down."
