Meanwhile Ragatha, Jax, and Gangle...

Ragatha takes a sip of tea while sitting at a dining table with Gangle and some other fancy looking ghost lady.

"-Mmm, good tea. Sorry again about your husband killing you and everything." Ragatha sympathized but the lady just laughed it off. "Oh, you know how men are. Always having the silliest priorities."

Ragatha laughs in agreement and looks over towards Jax, who was tied up in the corner. "Don't I know it. I'm sure Y/n does too, don't they Jax?"

He lets out a lot of muffled grumbles and struggles as he tries to untie himself.

"Who's Y/n? If you don't mind me asking."

"Oh, just his romantic partner that he shoved into the really scary door with our other friends."

The lady sighed. "Men."

Jax gave up his struggling and smacked his head against the wall in shame.

The lady clears her throat. "-Well, if your friends see my husband, I only hope he doesn't bore them to death with his endless monologues. That man could turn a 57-second story into a Greek tragedy." She dramatized to Ragatha.

"-I'll be sure to ask them next time I see 'em. Thanks again for the tea. I had a really nice time here." Ragatha and gangle both stood up from the table.

The lady chuckles. "Oh, don't mention it. Feel free to visit anytime."

Ragatha and gangle walk out the Dining room with Jax on a wagon as he was still tied up. He just looked defeated. (to bad, so sad.)
"-Definitely!"

They walk back to the entrance from which they came.

"Congratulations, My little ironclad waffle cones!" (No seriously wtf) "you've take the PACIFIST ROUTE, and you should be proud of what good people you are. Unfortunately, we still need to wait until your other team members finish their adventure before I can grant you permission to leave." Caine tells the group.

Jax hangs his head back and looks towards the door Y/n went down.

"-I wonder how long that'll be?" Gangle questions.

.

.

.

Water drips down from the top of the cave onto the ground that Pomni, Kinger, and Y/n lay on.

"-Not really typical of what you'd think Hell would be."

"We...are LITERALLY in Hell right now. HELL! Of course I'd be in hell. How could I not be in literal Hell right now?" Pomni starts to freak out.

"-Just try to stay calm." Kinger places a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure Caine included a way to escape."

You rub your temples trying to ward off the impending headache. This whole situation is already giving you whiplash. "Yeah, because nothing says 'escape plan' like getting dragged down to the depths of Hell."

Kinger spins towards you. "Shut up or I'll stop being your crutch."

You throw your hands out defensively, holding your palms out towards Kinger.

Kinger slowly lifted you off the ground and made sure not to put any unnecessary weight on your injured foot. He lead you and Pomni to a doorway full of black mist.

Pomni lifted a foot to take a step inside but he stopped her. "Hold on." He stared at the mist for a good minute. "Let me try something."

He detached an eyeball from his head and threw it into the mist, letting him see what was on the other side. "Hey, there's actually a staircase down there. It could be a way out. Maybe it'll work for us since we still have our bodies?" Though I'm worried about what that tape said earlier."

"I'm just going to try going fast." Pomni said recklessly running into the black mist.

"Wait, Pomni!"

You watch as Pomni charges blindly into the darkness, despite kinger's warning. A surge of panic rises in your chest as her eyes widen and she falls to her knees. The mist rushed into her mouth, filling her lungs. Her body began convulse uncontrollably, thrashing about in the dark fog.

"Pomni!" You screamed.

Pomni lurches her feet. Her movements are jerky and stiff, her eyes glowing ominously in the dim light. She turns to face you both, grinning wickedly.

"Freeeedooommmm"

"Pomni!!" Kinger stretched out his hand far enough to grab her and drag her back to them. She slammed into him, knocking you both down in the floor.

Kinger picked up a metal pipe and sprung back up into action as she thrashed around wildly on the floor.

"-Hey! You get out of her, you damn evil souls!" He said, trying to beat some sense into her as he whacked her with the pipe.

She just cackled manically. "How's your wife, Kinger?"

A pang guilt hits your chest at the mention of his wife. You never got to met her yourself, but Kinger loved to talk about the moments they shared with you. Well, now really wasn't the time to dwell on it.

Your heart races as you watch Pomni struggle and transform before your eyes. The sight of her contorted face, those glowing orbs, sends shivers down your spine. When Kinger finally manages to subdue her, you breathe a sigh of relief.

You hobble over to Pomni, leaning against the wall for support. Your foot throbs painfully, but you wanted to check on her despite this.

She laid on the ground, coughing weakly. Her usual vibrant coloring was a tad faded, replaced by a sickly gray pallor.
She breathed heavily almost gasping. She felt all over herself as if trying to tell if she was in her own body again.

You kneel beside her, concern etched on your face. "Pomni, can you hear me? Are you alright?" Your voice trembles slightly, reflecting the worry gnawing at you.

She glances around frantically. "No..."

"I'm guessing the souls are attracted to living things. Just want a vessel to be able to leave with." Kinger concluded.

You scoffed. "There's only one man I'll let inside of me-"

Kinger coughs "WHAT-"

"...did I say that out loud?"

"-why?" Pomni suddenly speaks up. "Everyday I spend here is one nightmare after the next! I knew it would end up like this! He-" she falls defeatedly. "He just wants me to suffer. I really am in Hell." She brings her knees up to her chest and hung her head.

Kinger shakes his head. "Don't say that. You're not in- well, I-I guess we are technically in- eh, forget about that."

You nod in agreement. "Let's just sit back for a moment. Since nothing is trying to kill us right now."
