Episode 4: New Mask

"-So, you just wind your arm backwards in a big circle, release right at the bottom, and follow through." Ragatha says, explaining how to throw a ball to Gangle. "You got that?"

"Uhh.." Gangle looked down at it, confused.

"-You're wasting your time, Raggy." Jax said, leaning against a baseball bat.

Ragatha sighed in frustration.
"Just wait a second."

Gangle threw her arm around just as Ragatha had showed her, testing out the works.
"-Like this?" She softly asked.
(I love her. Shes so sweet.)

Ragatha smiled and gave her a thumbs up.
"-Yeah, you got it."

Gangle then proceeded to throw the ball to which Jax hit straight on.
The ball flew back, hitting Gangle in the dead center of her face. Therefore! Her comedy mask was no more! Again! How many times is this now?

"-Jax!" Ragatha screeched.

"I actually didn't mean to do that."

"Are you alright, Gangle?" Ragatha looked over at her, concerned. Gangle slowly sat up, holding her face...mask.
"Owww..." she whined.

Ragatha sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Why do you always gotta do this?" She looked accusingly towards Jax.

"-What? I just said it was an accident." He shrugged.

"Unbelievable. You are unbelievable! You'd think Y/n would teach you some respect-"
Ragatha scolded.

Y/n and Zooble walked up to Gangle who was still sitting on the ground, crying over her mask.

"Ganngleeee!! We have something to show you!!" You sang skipping over to her and pulling her up by one of her arms.

"Yeah, it might be something you'll like." Zooble nodded, turning back to walk to their room.

You pause for a moment, looking back at Ragatha and Jax.
You and him meet eyes for a moment as Ragatha continues to scold him. He looked like he was asking you to help him get away from her.
You simply smirked and held up an L on your forehead with your fingers before walking off with Gangle.

He gasped and yelled at you. "We're supposed to be partners, y/n!"

"I dunno if it'll work, but it looks about the same shape as yours." Zooble dogs through a box of plastic parts and pulls out a mask similar to the one Gangle was already wearing.

"-Oh." Gangle leans in closer to get a better look at it.

You jump in excitedly. "And look! It's plastic, so it won't break as easily." You knock your knuckle up against the mask, showing off its durability.

Gangle looks between you and Zooble before taking the mask out of their hands.

"Try it on."

She turns towards the mirror and slips the mask onto her face. She looks around, squinting her eyes some as she adjusts to the mask.

"How does it feel?" Zooble asked, studying her expression.

"It feels..." Gangle reached up to touch the mask. "Normal."

You squeal, violently shaking Gangle.
"YOU LOOK SO CUTEEE!"
Gangle softly giggled, looking a bit dizzy.

Zooble rolled their eyes and silently pried you off her.

Gangle shook her head and smiled at the two of you. "Thank you guys."

Jax stuck his head around the corner, eyeing the room. "-What the heck is this? You just giving away parts now?" He asked, leaning up against the door frame. Ragatha and Pomni also showed up to see what was going on.

"So what if I am? I'm not giving any to YOU." Zooble said flatly.

Jax hissed through his teeth. "Darn. I guess you're never gettin' that unicorn horn, Pomni." Pomni looked up at him confused.
"-When did I ever say anything about that?"

"I think you'd look good with one." Gangle cut in.
You nodded in agreement. "Definitely."

Pomni stared blankly for a second.

"-Well, it's possib—"

"-Did somebody say 'adventure'?" Caine asked, suddenly sliding into the room.

"No...?"

You groaned and shut yourself inside Zooble's closet.
Jax pushed himself off the wall, stalking over to the closet. "Room for one more?"

"Wha- Get out of my closet!!"
