Pedro's POV

The excitement that came with knowing that Marco was actually single was one I was willing to celebrate with drinks. I hadn't decided what I was going to do with that information but it made me super glad. Super super glad. As I got back from the gym, I had a quick bath and dressed in a casual t-shirt and jeans. I would have done rounds of shots at home but I was in a particular good mood which did not require solo drinking. On days like this Fred was usually an option but that ship had sailed.

On my mind was a particular brown haired boy with green eyes. The thought of calling him played a little in my mind and before I could think it through, my phone was on my ear. He picked up almost immediately. He sounded out of breathe, like he had been running or doing something strenuous. Or probably just excited.

"Hey" he said through the phone.

"Hey. You home already?" I asked

"Yeah..."

"Busy?"

"Not really"

"Wanna hang out?"

He hesitated a bit. "Right now?"

"Yes Marco, right now" I was too happy to think of any sassy reply to his cute but stupid question.

"Uhh okay"

"I am coming to pick you up" I said and ended the call.

I picked up my keys and in less than 3 minutes, I was manuevering through the evening traffic to get to his apartment. I got there and sent him a text saying that I was waiting. He came out few seconds later, dressed in brown slacks and a tan t-shirt. Even though his hair was a darker shade due to the darking sky, I knew it matched perfectly with his outfit. Speaking of his hair, it was still slightly damp and swept back in a cute manner. He crossed the street to my car and got in, filling the car instantly with his scent. I resisted the urge to just close my eyes and take it in.

"Hi" he said sparing me a quick glance before looking forward at the street again.

"Hi" I couldn't stop the smile the crept onto my face. "You look amazing"

He swung around to look at me so fast, I heard his neck crack a little. His eyes were wide in surprise. I didn't fail to notice the blush that began to stain his cheeks.

"What? I can't compliment you?" I asked, amused.

"It's...not that" he stuttered which I found incredibly adorable. "You've never complimented me before"

I thought about it for a second. I actually compliment him alot (in my head). I shrugged "There's a first to everything I guess"

"Well thanks" he said in almost a whisper still blushing deeply.

I nodded, and starting the car, began to drive off again into the city.

"So where are we going?" He asked several minutes later. He looked relaxed at last.

"I was thinking we would go get drinks" I replied my eyes drifting from the road long enough to notice the soft disappoinment that crossed his face.

"You don't drink?" I couldn't hide the little laughter that followed the question.

He pouted and crossed his hands across his chest. "Since it's already amusing to you, yes, I don't drink. Now you can laugh"

I actually did laugh, not because he didn't drink but because of his little bout of tantrum.

He didn't know that though and just frowned deeper.

"Why are so angry all the time?" I asked when I finally stopped laughing but still holding a smile.
