Chapter Title: "The Big Move"
---
Y/N had flown into Orlando early for press work and medicals with her new club. The day had been long and exhausting, filled with interviews, medical evaluations, and photo shoots in her new kit. By the time she got back to her hotel room, her energy was completely drained. She dropped her bags at the door and flopped face-first onto the bed, letting out a deep sigh.

Meanwhile, back in LA, Lizzie was at home helping River get ready. His mom, Dua, was on her way to pick him up for the week. Dua had already settled down in Orlando and was just back in LA to finish up some last-minute details before her final move.
Lizzie was gently combing through River's hair, making sure he was ready. "You excited to see your mom?" she asked with a smile.
River nodded eagerly. "Yeah! She said we can go shopping for my new room in Orlando!"
Lizzie chuckled. "That sounds fun. You're going to have the best room ever, little man."
At that moment, the doorbell rang, and Lizzie opened the door to see Dua standing there, looking relaxed and cheerful.
"Hey, Lizzie!" Dua greeted warmly. "Thanks for getting him ready."
Lizzie smiled back. "No problem at all. He's been talking about how excited he is to go shopping with you."
River bolted towards the door, a huge grin on his face. "Mommy!"
Dua crouched down, giving him a big hug. "Hey, buddy! Ready for our week together?"
River nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, I can't wait to pick out stuff for my new room!"
Dua smiled, ruffling his hair. "We're going to have a blast."
As River dashed off to grab his backpack, Lizzie and Dua shared a light-hearted conversation.
"So, how are the final details with your move going?" Lizzie asked.
Dua sighed but smiled. "Almost there. It's been hectic, but I'll be settled in Orlando soon."
"That's great. I'm flying out tonight, actually," Lizzie said casually. "I'm going to surprise Y/N."
Dua's face lit up with excitement. "She's going to love that! She's been working so hard, she needs a good surprise."
Lizzie chuckled. "Yeah, I thought it'd be fun. Plus, I want to grab some last-minute things for the house before Y/N moves in."
Dua gave Lizzie a supportive smile. "That sounds perfect. You two make a great team."
"Thanks," Lizzie said softly. "I think so too."
River returned with his backpack, bouncing with excitement. "Let's go, Mommy!"
Dua laughed, standing up. "Alright, alright, let's go!"
Before they left, River turned to Lizzie and hugged her. "Bye, Lizzie! Tell Mama I'm excited for the new house!"
Lizzie hugged him back tightly. "I will, bud. Have fun with your mom!"
River grinned, waving as he and Dua walked out the door.

Back in Orlando, Y/N finally allowed herself a moment to relax, sinking into the soft hotel bed. She was halfway between sleep and consciousness when suddenly she felt something lick her face.
Her eyes shot open, and she let out a startled scream, sitting up in panic-only to find Lizzie standing in front of her, laughing uncontrollably, with Oscar and Lucky wagging their tails beside her.
"Lizzie!" Y/N gasped, clutching her chest. "You scared the life out of me!"
Lizzie couldn't stop laughing, wiping tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry, I couldn't resist! The look on your face!"
Y/N blinked, still trying to process what had just happened. "What-what are you doing here? I thought you were in LA!"
Lizzie grinned, stepping closer and wrapping her arms around Y/N. "Well, I thought I'd surprise you. You've been working so hard, and I wanted to help get some last-minute stuff for the house."
Y/N's eyes widened. "Wait, the house? You mean the house you've been keeping a secret?"
Lizzie smiled mischievously, her hands gently tracing Y/N's back. "Mmm, that's the one."
Y/N groaned playfully, resting her head on Lizzie's shoulder. "You know, I've been dying to know what it looks like. I have no idea where we're living, and you're just holding out on me!"
Lizzie giggled, kissing Y/N's cheek. "You'll love it, I promise. But I want it to be a surprise when we move in together."
Y/N leaned back slightly, looking into Lizzie's eyes. "Come on, Liz. Just give me one hint. Is it big? Small? Does it have a huge yard for the dogs?"
Lizzie bit her lip, teasing Y/N. "Maybe... maybe not."
Y/N pouted. "What if I promise to be extra romantic tonight?"
Lizzie raised an eyebrow, amused. "Oh? And how do you plan on doing that?"
Y/N leaned in closer, her voice low and playful. "I have a few ideas... starting with dinner, maybe a little slow dancing. And then, who knows?"
Lizzie laughed, shaking her head. "You're not going to trick me into revealing the house secrets that easily."
Y/N sighed dramatically. "Fine. I guess I'll just have to wait."
Lizzie kissed her softly, smiling. "Trust me, it'll be worth the wait."
Y/N held her close. "I'm just happy you're here. I've missed you."
Lizzie rested her head against Y/N's chest. "I've missed you too. Now, stop stressing and relax."
Y/N nodded, feeling her worries melt away. "You're right. I think I've earned a little break."
Lizzie kissed her again. "And Oscar and Lucky think so too."
Y/N chuckled, finally allowing herself to relax fully. Lizzie's surprise had been exactly what she needed. Even though the house was still a mystery, Y/N knew everything would be perfect-because they were building this new chapter of their lives together.
