Olivia had now been a mom of 2 for almost a year and both kids were still doing so well and madelyns night terrors began becoming less and less and by now we're only happening every couple months.

Noah was doing great at baseball although he was becoming bored of it and started showing interest in the dances Madelyn practiced. Madelyn was excelling at dance and at school.

Olivia was learning even better on how to manage her work and her kids better and was thankful to have fin to take over a little more of the work so she could spend more time with the kids.

There was one thing that olivia hadn't been prepared for and that was falling for a man she worked with. Her and Rafael barba had been spending more and more time together. They had not made anything official but olivia knew she couldn't hide her feelings much longer.

It was a Wednesday evening after a hard case that had just finished in court with a not guilty verdict.

"We did the best we could rafa that's all we can do no matter how we wish would could just lock up every abusive bastard." Olivia said running her finger over the lip if her wine glass.

" I just wish the laws would catch up to all this and stop becoming such a problem." He sighed sipping his glass of whiskey.

They drank a little more then they usually did that night and as they sat at the bar together telling stories of their childhoods as olivia laughed "I thought you were the nerdy bullied kid?"

"I was but I still had some friends and what can I say we were dumb kids" he chuckled.

Olivia smiled then looked at her watch "shoot. I better get home my kids will kill me if I miss thier bed times again" she said looking in to his dark bluish green eyes and without thinking she leaned in and kissed him softly but quickly pulled back realizing what she did "jeez...rafa I'm...I'm sorry."

He smiled and touched her face gently "hey I'm not complaining."

"Rafael we work together this is...not a good idea." Olivia said paying for her drinks.

"Hey its not like it's forbidden. We would just have to tell our bosses." Rafael said touching her hand softly.

"I don't want bosses involved in my personal life rafa" she sighed.

"So we take it slow and if we think it will be more then we disclose." Rafael suggested.

"I...I don't know" she sighed "I should get home" she said and rushed out of the bar.

Olivia arrived at her apartment 20 minutes later and sat in her car with her head on the steering wheel. She had always said she couldn't date someone she worked with especially after all that went down with Brian. She tried to shake the thoughts away for now and made her way up to the apartment and walked in as she once again seeing her two children dancing to a music video on the TV before running and hugging olivia.

Olivia paid Lucy for the month and let her head home as she locked the door she turned hearing a now 6 year old Madelyn say "no noah you do it like this" she said showing him a new dance move.

"Ok kiddos time for bed." Olivia laughed "you can practice your groovy moves tomorrow"

Noah rolled his eyes as Madelyn laughed "mama you know funny words"

Olivia picked up Madelyn and kissed her cheek and ruffled her sons hair. "Ok my little dancers let's get you to bed."

She went and tucked Madelyn in to bed and kissed her head "goodnight princess."

"Night mama." She smiled sleepily as olivia turned on her nightlight and shut the door.

She then went to Noah's room and kissed his head as smiled at him.

"Mom?" He asked

"Yes noah?" She said sitting on the edge of his bed.

"I don't want to do baseball anymore." He sighed.

"I thought you loved baseball?" Olivia said confused.

"I did but it boreing...I want to dance like maddie." He said.

Olivia sighed "are you sure noah cause I'm not going to let you keep quitting things."

"I'm sure mommy." He said.

"Ok I'll get things settled up for next week ok." Olivia said.

"Ok" he smiled and snuggled in his bed sleepily. "Thanks mommy."

She smiled and kissed his head once more before turning his night light on and closing the door.

Olivia sat that night sipping one more glass of wine and thinking about the incident with Rafael. She did care deeply about him but she wasn't sure a relationship was such a good idea.
