The child abuse case against Kurt Branson was progressing slowly and when his attorney informed him about the dna hit on his other daughter and how she had been adopted by the captain of the squad trying to put him away they figured this was his get out of jail free card and they asked for a meeting.

Olivia and Rafael went to rikers to meet with Kurt and his lawyer. Rafael looked at the lawyer and said "if your asking for a deal I'll only accept double digits and the first one will be a 2." Rafael said.

Kurt's lawyer John Buchanan smirked as did Kurt himself "oh I think we can do better than that."

Kurt looked at olivia "Drop the case and I'll sign over my parental rights to Madelyn. Go through with this and I'll make sure your bringing my daughter to see me on a regular basis." He laughed "your choice captain."

Olivia glared "your never seeing maddie again!" She hissed as her anger boiled to the surface.

"Oh I will and me and you will be seeing a lot of each other trust me on that." He continued.

"Is that a threat? Cause I'm sure the judge would love to hear about it." Rafael said with a glare.

"No barba it's just the Plain truth." Buchanan replied "even in prison my clients has rights to the daughter who was taken from him by an unstable woman who abandoned her and killed herself."

Olivia was infuriated and said "she did that because your client was beating the hell out of her and molesting his 5 year old daughter just like he has this one!"

"Unsubstantiated claims by a child poisoned by her mother to hate her father." Buchanan continued with a smirk plastered across his face.

"No cause you see we had maddie examined and her injuries were consistent with long term sexual abuse and the autopsy concluded Molly also had long term physical and sexual abuse." Olivia seethed with anger and her heart raced at the thought of making her daughter see the man who abused her constantly.

"Doesn't mean it was my client. Do you have dna evidence or anything but the words of a mentally unstable woman to back up your claims about Madelyn?" Buchanan smirked as he seen Olivia's face change "I didn't think so. So you decide drop the case or bring Madelyn here to see him weekly or monthly."

"We are done here." Rafael said and stood.

"Guess we will see you in court." Buchanan replied with a laugh.

Olivia shook her head as she walked out with Rafael but deep down she feared it may happen.

"You know we can't agree to that liv. We will all do what we can to keep him from getting visitation but we can't just let him go to get back to abusing more women and children." He said with a sigh of frustration.

"I know rafa...I'm just so worried about Madelyn. She's been through so much and right now things are not exactly calm at my home. Her and noah have a bit of tension going on." Olivia admitted as she got in to the car.

Rafael touched her shoulder "can I help at all with that?"

"I don't know I think noah really misses Peter and just maybe needs a new male figure in his life." She sighed. "I love them both so much I just want them to get along again." She continued.
