Olivia decided to bring Madelyn home that night and left work a little early so she could hopefully get noah used to the idea.

Madelyn would not let go of Olivia's hand as they walked in to the building and rode the elevator to her apartment. Olivia pulled out her key and opened the door as Noah began to run to his mother smiling but stopped when he seen the unfamiliar girl.

Madelyn hid behind Olivia's leg startled by the boy who now stood in front of them.

"Mom who's that?" Noah asked curiously.

Olivia knelt down to be at both kids levels and looked at each of them "Noah this is Madelyn. Madelyn this is my son Noah. Madelyn is going to be staying with us." She looked at her son.

"How long?" Noah asked.

"I'm not sure my love but for a while at least." Olivia confirmed and then seen Lucy and took her to the kitchen. Madelyn tried to follow but olivia looked at her son and said "Noah why don't you help Madelyn pick a movie and start watching it and I'll order some pizza in a bit ok."

Noah nodded and offered his hand to Madelyn. Madelyn hesitated but took the boys hand and followed him.

Olivia took Lucy in the kitchen and explained the situation as best as she could and Lucy nodded and greed to help however she could.

Lucy left soon after and olivia ordered the pizza and came out seeing the 2 5 year-olds sitting together on the couch and it made her heart melt slightly before coming over and taking a seat by her son.

Both kids laughed at a part in the toy story movie and Noah said "woodys so funny mommy."

Olivia laughed slightly and ruffled both thier hair "yes he is." She kissed her sons head so thankful that he and Madelyn seemed to be starting the adjusting process well.

After a while they all ate together and olivia helped get Noah ready for bed and then kissed his head goodnight and stepped out and made her way to the guestroom that would now be Madelyns and gave her an old tshirt of hers to wear "tomorrow ill take you out to get some new clothes and pj's ok sweetie?"

"Ok Olivia." She nodded as she climbed in to the bed "olivia?"

"Yes sweetheart?" She said stroking the girls hair.

"My mommy you said she died does that mean she's in heaven with my big sister?" She asked.

"You had a sister?" Olivia asked not remembering seeing another child listed in Molly's file.

Madelyn nodded "kaylyn daddy hurt her really bad cause she was a bad girl and she died."

Olivia's heart sank at all the heartbreak and hurt this child had suffered at only 5 years old "you know I bet they are together right now watching over you Madelyn. But do you know if they buried your sister?" She asked cautiously.

She nodded again "she was in our back yard and mommy grew a beautiful garden over her of white roses cause they were kaylyns favorites."

"At your last house?" Olivia asked gently and Madelyn nodded and yawned. Olivia sighed and kissed her head "goodnight maddie" she said calling her that for the first time.

"Night night olivia" she mumbled before falling to sleep.

Olivia made a call to fin and amanda and told them what Madelyn had just told her and to have an excavation team head over with csi. Olivia then lay in her bed falling asleep took awhile cause all she could think about was maddies story.
