The week had gone by agonizingly slow. Olivia hoped for the best but tried to mentally prepare for the worst. She knew this time she had to bring Madelyn because if the judge ruled that Kurt could have visitation his first one would be that day supervised by a court appointed supervisor.

Olivia slowly walked in the courthouse holding maddies hand tight. Maddie looked more and more terrified with every step.

Olivia knelt down to maddies level and said "Sweetie no matter what happens I'm always going to be a part of your life. You can always come to me and talk to me. I'm never going to abandon you maddie."

Maddie looked down with tears in her eyes "mommy Molly used to say that too....then she left me."

"I promise you Maddie your stuck with me for life ok" she smiled trying to be strong for maddies sake.

Madelyn nodded but wasn't sure she could believe it. A court officer took Maddie while Olivia and Kurt and thier lawyers went in to the courtroom.

Olivia say fiddling her fingers in her lap nervously as the judge took his seat.

The judge looked out to the 4 people in frontand seen Kurt's side of the courtroom was almost empty except for Kurt's mother while Olivia's side was full of her squad some lawyers and a few other cops supporting her. "First I want to say I never take these decisions lightly. I have struggled with this decision all week but I have to do what I feel is in the best interest of the child and since I can not take in to consideration the Unsubstantiated accusations of abuse so I do have to base my decisions off what is known and proven. So my decision is that during Mr. Branson 7 year term he will get once a month visitation but primary custody will stay with captain Benson."

Olivia's heart sank as she heard all of this cause now she knew it will take much more to keep Maddie stable and keep her from her trauma destroying her.

"Mr. Branson you will recieve your first visitation right after we adjourn for one hour. Your next visit will be one month from today for a 2 and a half hour visit. And it will stay the same for 6 months and then we will do a check in. Court is adjourned." The judge said.

Olivia went to leave the courtroom and Kurt looked at her and smirked "guess we will be seeing much more of each other Ms. Benson."

Olivia glared at him but didn't say a word as she left the room. And tried to calm herself as she noticed Maddie run to her and hug her waist. Olivia hugged her.

"The officer says I have to go see daddy....i...I don't want to." She whimpered.

"I know hunny but the judge says you have to and I can't be there for this one but another woman will. He can't hurt you Maddie and after this I'll be at every visit I promise."

Maddie had tears in her eyes as Olivia kissing her head. A social worker than came to take her for her first visit and lead Maddie away looking down.
