After the visit to the prison Rafael agreed to come take noah out for some one on one guy time it hopes it would help the tension between the kids so the next say on Olivia's day off Rafael came over and knocked. Olivia opened the door and smiled "morning Rafael."

"Morning liv. Is he about ready?" Rafael asked as he stepped in to the apartment.

"Noah bud rafaels here." Olivia said loudly through the apartment and noah ran out smiling.

"Hey uncle rafa" he said excitedly.

"Ready for some sports and junk food?" Rafael smiled and ruffled the boys hair.

"Yeah! Let's go!" He said heading for the door.

"Hey you forgetting something?" Olivia laughed and noah turned around and hugged his mom before grabbing his jacket and glove "bye mom see you later!"

"Have fun you too but not too much!" Olivia laughed and shut the door behind them as Madelyn emerged from her room.

"Mommy what's going on where is noah going?" She asked.

"Well noah is haveing a guys day with uncle rafa and I thought me and you could have a little girls day how does that sound?" Olivia smiled kissing her daughters head.

Maddie nodded excited as well and olivia said "ok go get dressed and we will leave in a little while and maybe go to the mall ok?"

"Ok mama" she smiled and rushed off back to her room.

Olivia made some coffee and put some in a to go cup and got maddie some juice in one of her water bottles.

Maddie came out a few minutes later wearing what Olivia had set out for her.

"Ok kiddo get your jacket." Olivia said as she grabbed her own and her purse. Olivia held her hand as they left the apartment together.

They had went and got breakfast at the food court then decided to go and do a little shopping at the children clothing stores in the mall.

Madelyn was looking through some dresses on a rack as olivia was close by looking at a new jacket for Noah.

Rafael and Noah took thier seats at the baseball stadium and Rafael decided to ease in to a conversation about the tension between him and maddie. "So your mom tells me you and Madelyn are not getting along very well right now." He said.

Noah sighed "she's so annoying. First she steals my part in the recital and then at school at recess she only wants to be around me. She won't leave me alone." He said in a frustrated tone.

"Well bud you got to remember this is an even bigger adjustment for her than it is for you. You still have your mom and she's been there for as long as you can remember but maddies real mom died and now she just wants to be close to someone again." Rafael replied.

"So why can't she just hang with mom?" He sighed.

"Because mom's not at school with her or around dance class alot and as much as your mom wants to be around more she has to work but you are in all those places and maddie just wants to be close." He said "But I know your mom is working with maddie to get better at giving you your space too." He continued.

"I told maddie I hated her....but I didn't really mean it I just wanted her to leaveme alone for a while but she just got mad instead." Noah said looking down at his hands.

"So how about tonight you sit with your mom and maddie and talk about it and apologize?" Rafael asked.

Noah nodded "maybe." He said.

The game began to start and Rafael got him back excited for thier day out.
