Jimmy mouthed towards me a barely noticeable "hey", then continued the monologue. My heart beated normally in its usual rhythm when I calmed down a bit, and smiled at him. "He still remembers me" I thought. "Of course he is, why wouldn't he?" I could hear Megan's sarcastic voice in my head. She would've definitely said that. I smiled on my own goofy thoughts, then payed more attention to Jimmy and the show.

"You lie!" Jimmy yelled in Justin Timberlake's face at the end of the Box of Lies game. This was the last game on today's show so I got  bit nervous but I tried to just shook off the feeling. I grinned as the two of them stared at each other; Justin with a feigned serious look and Jimmy with a half-grin-half-serious face. He just couldn't moderate himself but giggle, as always.

"It was true!" Justin laughed in Jimmy's face and he showed him the big bowl full of hairgel with Jimmy's Blow Your Pants Off CD in the middle of it.

"Oh my Gosh!" Jimmy chuckled then stood up from his seat. "The winner is Justin Timberlake! Thank you Justin for coming on the show, and thank you guys for watching! Have a great night everybody!" he raised his voice when the audience - including me - stood up to applaud him.
After that he glanced at me and our eyes met. I was suddenly surprised as I noticed; he was running towards me. I smiled at him.

"Don't go anywhere, just sit down here. Be right back." he panted heavily and ran out of the studio while waving to the audience.

As he and Higgins was gone, The Roots stopped playing the music and the audience headed out. I feeled a little awkward just sitting there, and I felt more uncomfortable when someone from the staff came right up to me.

"Excuse me, you must be Miss Rivers, right?" asked the middle-aged woman nicely with a small smile.
"Umm, yes I am." I nodded.
"Jimmy told you'll wait here for him after the show. I just wanted to make sure." she explained. "So just stay here, he should be back in a couple minutes."
"Oh okay." I smiled back and she left me there.

A few staff members were still there in the studio, but not the whole group. I stared at the walls, the scenery and Jimmy's desk when I jerked around and saw him coming in my direction from the door that must've been his dressing room.

He wasn't in his suit anymore. His white shirt wasn't tucked in his pants, it was buttoned down a little bit under his neck, so as his cuffs. His tie hung loosely around his neck and I couldn't help but smile at him looking so scattered at that moment.

I stood up when he was next to me in the first line of seats.
"Thank you so much for coming here tonight." he greeted me with a slight hug and a smile.
"Thanks for having me." I grinned like I was a guest here or something and he chuckled at my horrible joke.
"So how's your head?" he asked as we set down on the seats.
"It's better now, really, it wasn't too bad afterall." I shrugged.
Jimmy crossed his legs as he sat.
"You sure? Cause ya' know...You looked kinda like somebody who fainted." he joked.
"Shut up, I'm tougher than I look like." I laughed.
"Oh I'm sure." he put his hands up with feigned innocence. "You look great, by the way." he added.
"Well, I look better now that I'm not in a hospital bed." I said while staring at my foot, feeling a little awkward.
"Gosh, I don't know how to make it up to you!" he sighed, and I looked up him again.
"I said you do not owe me anything. I've said that a thousand times."
"Adele, I still feel guilty and it's not gonna leave me alone. I need to." he said with a little tired smile on his lips.
"What about giving me a lift after this? That would be pretty much enough for me." I tried.

Jimmy was silent for a couple seconds, then he said:
"Okay, sure. I'm gonna go and change into some more comfortable clothes, so unless you wanna see me naked I advise you to wait for me in the hall." he winked at me with a smile.
"Oh, I'm kinda disappointed now. Whatever." I said jokingly with a grin on my face as we stood up from our seats.
"I bet you are. See you in a minute." he chuckled and headed towards his dressing room, and I headed to te exit.

I was holding my coat, standing there in the hall waiting for...Jimmy Fallon. "Wow," I thought. "I don't understand myself. When I'm with him and talking to him, I don't even realize who he really is, we're just having a good time. But oh man, when I'm left alone with my own thoughts, I'm afraid of myself. What's just happened back there anyways? Me and Jimmy talking to each other, laugh at each other's joke? That's totally not the shy, low-on-self-confidence Adele I knew. I think I'm just imaging these things. Yeah, I'm crazy." I claimed, matter-of-factly.

"Okay, we can go now." I didn't even noticed Jimmy who was standing right next to me. Wow, I was really lost in my thoughts.
He wore a pair of grey jeans, brown shoes and a nice, bright blue shirt. His hair was fixed, and he looked more sophisticated than a few minutes ago. I liked the way he looked like, not just like this but all the time. "Wait, what am I thinking?" I slapped myself mentally in my head.
"Lead the way." I said, pointing towards the door. Jimmy gave me a bright smile, then he placed his right hand on my back, showing the way out to his car.

As we got out of the building, I saw Jimmy's big, red Ford parking behind the 30 Rock.
"Wow." I marveled. "Nice."
"Thanks." he stuck his tongue out and unlocked the car. He walked back to my side and opened the door for me. "So what kind of car you have?"
I put my purse next to me on the big seat and Jimmy sat behind the steering wheel.
"Actually, I don't have a car. I live close to the place where I'm working and I don't know, I never wanted to have a car. But I'd definitely accept a baby like this." I answered, srtoking my fingers along the door.
"I bet." he chuckled. "So should I take you home, or are you free for a little longer?"
I blushed again. Dammit. Luckily my makeup hid my embarrassment.
"Well I'm free, yeah."
Jimmy smirked at me which made me feel suspicious.
"What's on your mind, Fallon?" I punched him playfully on his arm what made him laugh.
"First of all: ouch." he pouted. "Second of all: let's go get some coffee, shall we? I'm gonna fall asleep if I can't have caffeine."
"Yup, we shall. Plus I'm starving so everyone's winning." I agreed with a smile.

Jimmy turned the car keys, and the engine roared. But before we could go, he faced me and said:
"Safety is sexy." with a wink, and he leaned towards me to buckle up my safety belt.
"Oh how could I forget?" I sighed sarcastically with a grin.

Few minutes later we were in the parking lot in front of The Coffee Shop - yes, that's the name of the cafe - on the other side of the road.
Jimmy looked around on the sidewalk, his eyes were scanning the crazy traffic.
"Let's just search for a pedesrtian crossing." I said.
"No, we can go through here too." he said, still gazing the road.
"How in the hell could we? I don't want to die on the road - again- becaused of you." I teased him, and now I got his full attention.
"Oh, it's on now." he pursed his mouth in a self-satisfied smirk and grabbed my left hand immediately, dragging me towards the edge of the sidewalk.

"Crazy bitch!" I said, still in a little shock as we were now in the cafe's door. He dragged me through the traffic and yes, we almost got hit by a dozen car, but hey I guess it's just a regular thing in the life of Jimmy Fallon.
"That's my middlename." he laughed out loud at my reaction. "Let's get in now."

We sat down to an empty table; Jimmy with his black coffee and me with my d-caf and chocolate donut.
"How could you drink that?" he appalled, pointing at my d-caf.
"No, how could you drink that?" I riposted.
"Touché." he shrugged with a grin.

We were sitting in the café for about one-two hours or so, when I noticed, it's getting darker and darker outside. We talked about literally everything. My life, his life, family, work, interests...It was just perfect, I had a really good time and I wanted to do it again.
"We should go now, it's almost dark out there and..." I started but the sight I saw outside the shop wouldn't let me finish my sentence. "The fuck...?" I whispered with wide eyes.
"What?" Jimmy asked, turned around and I saw his jaw dropped just like mine. "Shit."
In front of the shop,  we could clearly see the dozen of reporters and photographers through the glass.
As soon as the both of us looked at them, they're started to take pictures - a lot of pictures - of us staring at them. The flashing lights almost blinded me, I had to look away and blink a couple times before I saw Jimmy's concerned look.
"We have to get out of here, now. Oh my, I'm so sorry Adele."
"No, it's fine. My God, how long they've been out there?" I wondered while starting to get my purse and coat in my hand.
Jimmy went to the counter and pay for our coffees  then turned back to me.
"Okay, somebody must've seen us here together, and of course they- "he pointed at the door. "-came here right away. We're gonna get out, we won't say anything, just look straight on the ground please."
"Okay I get it." I nodded approvingly and we headed towards the exit.

As soon as we opened the door, the photographers surrounded us and they could took better pictures of us. Jimmy was on my left, his right hand held my waist tightly and the both of us just stared forward.
"Jimmy, who is this lady?" asked a reporter while sticking a microphone in our faces.
"Jimmy are you cheating on your wife with her?" a woman pointed at me. "What's your name?"
"Mr. Fallon, say something!" a man yelled in his face with a big camera and mic in his hand.
"Get out of our way, it's none of your business, people!" I could hear the anger in his voice.
Jimmy stepped in fornt of me, taking my hand in his and dragged through the people. We were finally out of that risky situation and we ran to the car. Jimmy unlocked it and the both of us hopped in immediately, breathing heavily. He quickly put the Ford in reverse and rushed into the traffic.

I didn't know where were we going exactly. We were silent, and when I calmed down a bit, I looked down to my hand - which was still held by Jimmy's.
