*Jimmy's POV*

I drove home to my apartment, with nothing left inside of me but sorrow. I wiped away some tears - manly tears, of course - as I tried to clear my vision. Crying and driving at the same time is just not okay, especially this late at night.

I pulled up to my driveway, and parked. For a few more moments, I stayed inside it, grasping the steering wheel with my hands. "You're screwed. You need to get your shit together." I thought.

Once I got inside, I changed into my PJs, not bothering with having a shower or something for basic hygiene. Then walking up to the kitchen, I took a beer out of the fridge and yawned. This day was way too long.

"Should I drink?" I asked, mostly from myself. Then I thought about Addie. "Yeah, I should."

Heading to my bedroom, I threw myself into the bed, opened the beer and gulped the half of it with one breathe. I reached for the remote control to turn the TV on and try not to think about how much of an asshole I was.

~

BZZZZZ.

My eyes popped open for the buzzing sound that came from the front door.  As my vision cleared, I realized it was already morning, and half of my blanket was soaked in beer.

BZZZ-BZZZZ.

Sitting up, I threw the cover onto the floor, and rubbed my eyes.

"Who the fuck relies on my doorbell?" I muttered as the sound didn't stop. I crawled up to the door and unlocked it.

"Heya there, cousin!" a big amount of brown hair collapsed onto my chest immediately. At least that was all I could see.

"Huh? Amy?" I pulled her away to examine her.

Amy was one of my cousins, who lives in Bronx. We usually don't see each other that much, except holidays and things like that when the family is together.Amy was a tall, 25 years old young woman with brilliant humor, who I always loved to hang out with.

"You didn't recognize me?!" she exclaimed.

"Of course I did!" I chuckled. "Come on in." I stepped aside.

She stumbled inside the apartment, dragging a giant suitcase behind her.

"What are you doing here? Are you going somewhere?" I asked and motioned her to follow me into the kitchen.

I started making my coffee while she hopped on top of the counter. "Make me one too." she said. "I'm about to fall asleep. And also, yes, I'm actually moving."

My eyes widened. "Moving? Where?"

"To Philadelphia." she smiled.

"Amy, that's great!" handing her the cup, I said. "But I still don't get it why are you stopped here. Because of me?" I wiggled my eyebrows.

Taking a sip, she just rolled her eyes. "You know what, Jay, partly. This is the part where I tell you I need a favor."

"What favor?" I walked out of the kitchen and sat down at the dining table.
