*Sunday*

After lunch, I was chilling on the couch, and re-watched the Tonight Show from Friday night.

"Thank you, Taylor Swift. For releasing a new break-up song-" he started on my TV screen, and my phone went off.

I muted the TV and ran to the diner table to see what's up. It wasn't a call, just a text from Megan.

"2:56 pm - Megan

I'm so freakin sorry for ditching you.
I had an amazing night. If you know what I mean.;)
Gotta go, ttyl."

I just rolled my eyes and threw the device back to the table. I was still a bit mad at her, and I got other things to worry about than listening to her sexperience. I was concerned about tonight. I shouldn't have told Jimmy to come over. But it was too late to regret, so I'll just go with it. Though I was upset, cause I blamed myself. Am I just ruined a marriage? Am I a bad person? Will I end up in hell?

I peeked at the clock and saw it was 3 pm already.

"Let's get ready then." I said under my breath.

I turned off the TV and walked to my bedroom. I gathered up my clothes for tonight; my underwear, a dark blue, loose t-shirt, which was a bit short for me in length and a gray pair of leggings. I also took a towel with myself, a razor and shaving cream - I bought these things yesterday - and locked myself in the bathroom.

With showering, hair washing and shaving, I spent there about a good hour. I put my wet hair in an other dry towel when I got out, and dragged myself into my comfy clothes. Before putting any makeup on, I brushed my teeth and put some nice-smelling facemask on my face, cause I still had a shitload of time.

When I realized I didn't have to do anything else, I decided to take a nap. I laid on my couch, carefully placing my towel-y head down, and took some deep breaths until darkness pushed me into unconsciousness.

My eyes popped out of my head when I heard my phone's beeping. I jumped up, and my damp hair fell onto my shoulders. I ran for the phone and realized, I overslept a bit. It was already 6:08 pm.

"Shit!" I said, but thanked mentally for the social media notification which woke me up.

I ran into the bathroom and quickly dried my hair with the blow-dryer. I rushed into my bedroom to get my makeup kit. Since I hadn't got too much time, I didn't do anything fancy or special, just a natural-looking makeup.
Thanks to the power of makeup, I looked more like myself - just a better version of me.

I thought it wasn't really enough, cause it will be a home-date kinda thing, so I drew a slight eyeliner on top of my lids.

"That's what I'm talking about." I smirked in the mirror, and sprayed some perfume at my skin.

I stepped out off the bathroom and walked to the living room to clean up the couch, and put away my blanket. I didn't know how much time passed by since I woke up, but the doorbell rang.

"Uh, okay, calm down." I thought, as I switched up the lights in the living room.

I walked up to the front door, but as soon as I was about to unlock it, Jimmy already opened and stepped inside.

"How?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Remember?" he stuck his tongue out at me as he shook his key in his hand. My key.

"Right." I nodded. I just stood there and watched him hung his coat up and slip out of his shoes.

He looked just as good as usual. He wore a grey t-shirt and black jeans, nothing too special and I was glad that he looked as casual as me.
