Early update yaay.:)

I sat up in my bed and blinked a couple times with sleepy eyes before I actually got out from it, unhurriedly. I slipped into my flip-flops and as I walked through the living room, towards the front door, I dragged myself into my coat, on top of my pajamas. I didn't even check myself in the mirror before opening the door but I'm sure as hell I looked sexy; especially with my babypink PJs, messed up hair and face like a zombie.
"Hmm?" I mumbled while rubbing my eyes as I opened the door.

"Miss Rivers? Are you Adele Rivers?" asked an unknown man, holding a mic in front of his mouth. I looked behind him, where another man held a big camcorder on his shoulder, next to him a woman stood with a dazzling lamp in her hand. My eyes widened. "Not the stupid press again, God please." I thought.
"Who are you people? Put that thing away!" I commanded, pointong at the camcorder.
The man motioned to the camera-guy who turned the device away. I heard other cameras clicked in my way, and saw a couple photographers behind them.

"What's on Earth going on here in the middle of the night?" I asked angrily, and started to close the door, so only the half of my face showed up behind it.
"We wanna ask you some questions about you, about your relationship with Jimmy Fallon, the date with him at the-" started the guy but I cut him off.

"Are you crazy? Stop making things up, nothing has happened between us!" I yelled and shut the door close.

I sighed and turned away, walking towards the couch. I took off my coat and I threw it on a chair. I sat down and listened to the reporters yelling and knocking on my door for a while, and when I realized that I couldn't sleep now, I made my way to the kitchen.
"For fuck's sake." I swore as I started to make a cup of coffee.

I crawled back into my bed and I felt miserable. I took a sip from my cup and turned the TV on, browsing through the channels. Around 5 am, I fell asleep, and fortunately I didn't need to get to work this week because of the accident.

My ringing phone woke me up. I looked at the clock on top of my drawer. 12:37 pm. Just great.
"Hello." I picked up with a throaty voice.
"Guess who was in the news this morning?" asked Megan.
"I don't wanna guess." I cleared my throat quickly.
"All I'm sayin' is, you should just brush your hair before opening that door." she teased me and I could hear she was smiling.
"Very funny. I'd like to see your face right after a group of reporters wake you up at night." I grinned although she can't see me. "What did they say about me?"
"Well, they found out your name, where you live and how sullen you are when somebody disturbs your sleep."
"Awesome. I just woke up by the way. Are you working yet?" I asked her and sat up.
"Yup. And I'm staring at him at this moment." she replied with a bit of passion in her voice.
"Staring at who?" I yawned.
"Soon-to-be-my-babe. Or prince charming, if you like that better."
"Oh-oh, I'm too sleepy for your lovelife right now. Bye." I chuckled.
"Get it together, Addie." she said and hung up.

I walked up to the kitchen and made another cup of coffee. I took out some leftover chinese food fromm my fridge and threw that in the microwave. While my food was warming up, I took my painkillers. I put my "healthy breakfast" on a plastic salver and sat down to the dining table. Before I started eating, I tied my hair up and turned on the TV.

After I finished, I put the plate in the sink and heard my phone beeping. I got a text.

*NOW* 12.58 pm - Unsaved Number
Hey, it's Jimmy. Did you saw the news? I am so, so sorry. I'll call you later.

I smiled at his message. I saved the number under "Jimmy F." and locked my phone screen. I washed my face and brushed my teeth in the bathroom and I was ready to start the day.

Around 4 pm I was really bored, and my fridge was concretely empy, so I decided to go and shop some food.
I looked out the window. The wind was blowing and it looked like it'll rain later, so I had to dress up properly. I put my shoes on, my black jeans, oversized white sweater and my usual long, light-brown coat. I brought my fashion black-leather backpack with myself - phone, wallet and an umbrella in it -
just to have something to carry the food in. I decided not to do anything with my hair at all, so I just tied it up.

I locked my door behind myself, walked down the stairs and stepped out the apartment building. I breathed in the cold air of Manhattan. I looked around and stood on the sidewalk, trying to hail a cab.

"I swear I feel like everybody's watching me." I complained to Jimmy on the phone. I was in Walmart at the time when he called me."
"I don't think so." he tried to calm me. He failed.
"Oh really? Today 3 people walked up to me and asked "Is it true? You're the new Mrs. Fallon?". I don't think I'm just imagine things." I said with a sour look on my face.
"Don't listen to bullshit. They know nothing about me or you. I'll clear things up in tonight's episode."
"That would be great. Thank you." I said. "Maybe after that, reporters won't bother me at night." I grinned.
"Whoa what?" wondered Jimmy on the phone.
"Long story, I'll tell you later." I shrugged.
"Okay. Maybe tonight around 10?" he asked.
My eyes widened. "You wanna come over tonight? What about Nancy and the-"
"Nancy told me to." he said with a calm voice. "She thinks we should clear things up, and I should calm you. She and my daughters will be fine if I skip dinner with them for tonight." he chuckled.
"Oh okay. Umm, should I cook something?" I asked with an awkward tone. I was glad that he can't see me blush cause I'm sure I was as red as a tomato.
"I don't know, it's on you." he laughed. "I want to see your reaction on the show."
"Well, you will I guess." I said.
"Yeah, but I gotta go now, we're taping the show and my break is over. 10 at your apartment. Bye." he said with a sweet voice and I could tell he was smiling.
"At 10. Bye." I hung up.

I rushed home after his call and started to panic. Since I was living alone, I didn't really bother with things like "orderliness" in my apartment. I kicked off my shoes, hung my coat up and threw my bag of food in the kitchen.
It won't be a "date" or something, but I did not want him to think I'm slob or lazy - although I am sometimes.
After took a shower and washed my hair thoroughly, I cleaned up the living room and the kitchen. It was about 8 pm when I finished, so I started to deal with myself. I blow-dried my hair, and since I knew I'll mess it up anyways, I did not curled it. Without it, it was pretty straight and long. I made my usual "no-makeup" makeup, cause I wouldn't do anything fancy. I choose to wear white socks with black leggings, and a simple dark gray crop-top. I thought it was a little bit harsh, so I called Megan for her opinion.

"Girl, we're not 30 yet, we can wear things like that at home. And you have a really nice, flat stomach so you should shut up and go with that damn top." said Megan and I rolled my eyes.
"You're so honest."
"I know." she chuckled.
"Shit, I forgot to make some food!" I realized and slapped my forehead.
"I thought you were shopping."
"Yeah but-" I looked at the clock in my bedroom. "It's 9:12. There's no way I could make something till 10." I sighed.
"Order a pizza." she said.
"I think I have no choice. Love you, bye." I hung up.

I was sitting in the living room on the couch, watching TV nervously. I looked at my phonescreen. 10:03 pm. No pizzaguy and no Jimmy yet.
I was just about to call the pizzeria when my doorbell rang. I put me phone away, ran to the door and looked in the peephole.

I saw Jimmy standing outside the door with his coat on, looking around the corridor and biting his lip. I opened the door with a big, bright smile to greet him.
