  I like control

I like control. No, let me rephrase that, I like being in control. Wether that is in control of my staff, in control of the empire that's to be mine when my father descends the throne, and I ascend it, or in control of people's minds. I'm good with control, and I prefer working alone when I don't need to use people.

Sadly, this cannot be the case in my current situation. Sadly, the woman currently panicking in front of me is the only woman who I never was able to get under my control - never been able to use her for my own success. Not out of choice, obviously, but my hands have been tied my whole life when it came to messing her life up.

I lean further against the tree I'm currently using as support as Althea goes through her fifth bag, unable to find her winter coat.

"I could've sworn I packed it!" She kept saying as she scrambled through her belongings.

After our carriage got totally blocked by the snow, we had to take the rest of this mountain by foot, and I assume she did not calculate this happening, because right now she's most likely freezing. I, of course, did predict it, and packed my and her coat. Obviously, I wasn't gonna let her know until she completely had given up on searching because this might just be the funniest thing I've witnessed throughout these days with her.

So what if I'm enjoying the sight of her making a fool of herself? I don't get to openy enjoy it often, leave me alone.

"Aias, can you stop being an ass and come help?" She said, her voice barely heard from her position. She was using her arms as support on the carriage's couch as she searched the bags, almost bent over. Half her body was inside the carriage, while the other half, or, her legs, actually, were on the carriage's steps and the other on the ground.

"Are you sure you packed it?" I feigned innocence as I twirled my dagger in between my fingers.

"Yes!" Hm.

I counted to three im my brain, and when I hit one, her voice sounded from inside the carriage again.

"Well- I think so atleast..." there it is.

I put the dagger back in it's pocket before pushing off the tree, grabbing her waist and shoving her out the way, as I reached inside and took out my own bag, before taking her coat out.

"Looking for this?"

She snatched it from my hands with a glare. "You... you knew this would happen!"

"Yeah." I said with a smirk, unable to contain my laugh.

"Asshole..." she mumbled as she put it on.
