"We can't enter that way. It's heavily guarded." A soft voice spoke. It would've been pleasant but for the situation. Four people in black jumpsuits were making their way silently up the stairs, careful not to make a sound. They had masks drawn tight over their faces. All that was visible were the eyes. The man leading them stopped suddenly, signalling the others to hide. They ran down the stairs and hid in individual corners. Hididng wasn't a problem, considering their outfits. Voices came down the stairs. "Yes of course ma'am, but the students deserve a prior notice. We can't just spring this upon them." Came the soft voice of Mr. Westwood, the school coordinator. "But that's the fun of it, Mr Westwood. The students don't have any idea about this exam. This is a great way to test their 'on the spot preparedness'. And of course, not succeeding in this examination has serious consequences.." The cold voice of Mrs Gestingthorpe, the Headmistress. A stern woman with an eye for detail, she was the most detested person in the school, probably due to her knack of springing nasty surprises on poor unsuspecting students. The owners of the voices came down the stairs and walked past the four hidden people, not even noticing their prescence. After they had left, one of them growled deep in his throat and got up. "C'mon, they can be back any minute." The others followed him, creeping up the stairs silently. After climbing for what seemed like hours, they finally reached the doors. The doors that guarded the mightiest secret of all eternity. "It's practically impossible to get past it." Whispered a husky voice. "Yeah. Okay listen. Now that we've seen the doors, we can go back and try to figure out a loophole in the enchantments. There has to be one." "Only Gestinthorpe and the Elders can open these damned doors." "Is there no other way?" A feminine voice asked, oddly high pitched. "No. This is the only way. The other ways are even mo-" Footsteps resounded in the distance. By the click of the heels everyone was pretty sure it was Mrs Gestinthorpe returning to her office which was on the same floor. "Crap!" The soft voice muttered. "Move it!" It had a note of urgency in it. As if on cue, all four of them moved towards the grand balcony. Mrs Gestingthorpe was very near. The person with the odd high pitched voice swung her leg over the parpet and let go. Dropping down almost twelve feet, she landed soundlessly. The others followed suit and Mrs Gestingthorpe didn't have a clue that a minute ago there were four people standing right where she was. "Wow. That was neat." said the soft voice as it pulled off it's mask, revealing the owner. Elsa would've recognised those serpent green eyes anywhere. It was Luke.
