The next day skimmed by so fast Ariana barely had time to breathe. In no time, it was already five PM and Ariana still hadn't decided on a dress. Plus, Katherine kept putting her off with her obsession with Elsa's parents. That was one more reason Ariana wasn't able to concentrate on her lessons. She had already been sent out twice between three lectures. She kept worrying about Katherine's sudden change in demeanour. It seemed like all she cared about was Elsa. Not even for herself. Ariana stopped. That's because she wasn't herself, literally, she continued, answering her own question. Anyone who was powerful enough to breach Lexington's security could've brainwashed her. The question was, what was the motive? Ariana couldn't answer that question and so she couldn't consider that possibility. She shook her head. There was a lot of time to think about all this. Right now she had to concentrate on how to not make a fool of herself at the waltz, which, she was pretty sure, was exactly what was going to happen. I need Elsa.. she realised desperately. But then she also realised that Elsa had her own dressing up to do. Plus, Ariana had only herself was to blame for her helpless situation. She had had an entire day to get ready. Ugh!! She had to ask someone what to do. The name suddenly popped into her head. Phillip. What?! She asked herself. But then her reason argued with her. Why not? Phillip had seen enough girls to know what to do. And besides, it's not like he needed a lot of time to get ready or something. Guys could get ready before you could say 'Oh my god a waltz!' That was the only quality Ariana admired in boys. So Phillip could help her. But what would he think... who cares?! Her reason snapped. All you care about is going to the waltz. As long as he gets you there, how does it matter? Reason argued. Okay, so Phillip it was.

Elsa had other plans. She started getting ready by six fivteen as she was meeting Luke directly at the Wandsworth hall. She had selected a beautiful cyan tube dress which came down to her knees, pairing it with her black stilettos. She decided to drape her red hair casually over her shoulder, giving her a messy yet sophisticated look. I wonder how Ari's doing.. she thought as she applied a liner to her stunning grey eyes. Little did she know that Ariana was pacing outside Phillip's room, reprimanding herself for being so casual that she had to take help from an idiotic guy. Elsa smiled to herself. Anything could happen with Ariana. Screwing back the cap of her mascara, she glanced at her phone. It was six thirty. I'll leave now.. she decided. Picking up her phone, she walked over to Ariana's room and knocked. She must've already gone.. Elsa thought in surprise when no one opened the door. She left the school and walked over to her black sedan, the dying sunlight reflecting off it's glass windows. Elsa was looking forward to tonight. I would totally blow Luke's mind.. she thought, smiling to herself. Of course, he too might blow hers..

This is embarassing.. Ariana thought as she paced up and down outside Phillip's door. It was already six twenty. She had to go in. Ariana knocked twice on his door, letting out a deep breath. As soon as he opened it, she wished she hadn't let out her breath as she needed all the breath she could get right now. "Hey." He stood in front of her, his chest bare. He was in his boxers and his black hair was messed up totally, giving Ariana a strange urge to run her fingers through them. Phillip grinned as he noticed Ariana's eyes fixed on his chest. He was perfect, she realised suddenly. He had exactly the right amount of muscles. They weren't too many nor were they non existent. I like guys with such bodies.. her head suddenly snapped up and she stared into Phillip's laughing brown eyes. "Like what you see, Rivers?" He asked, wiggling his eyebrows. Ariana closed her eyes tightly, trying to block out Phillip's extremely appealing abs from her memory. She had to get back on her feet. "You still haven't.. changed?" She asked, her eyes still shut, hoping feverently that he didn't notice the slight quiver in her voice. "Why's your voice shaking like that?" He asked mischeviously, trying hard not to burst out laughing. "Okay, this is not gonna work!" She said suddenly and turned around to go. "No no Rivers, C'mon!" Phillip protested and grabbed her hand, pulling her up against his chest. He shivered slightly as Ariana's warm hand landed right over his thudding heart. Ariana drew a sharp breath and almost instantly pushed him away, keeping her eyes shut and making him laugh. "I'm not that bad to look at!" Phillip complained, pulling her into his room and closing the door behind him. "Why did you close the door?" Ariana asked him suspiciously. "Well Rivers, if you want the whole world to see you changing.." Phillip trailed off, opening the door wide. "How did you know I came here to change?" Ariana asked him suddenly, closing the door. "Well, you haven't really changed, you're at my door exactly-" he checked his watch "-two minutes before we were supposed to leave and you've hardly gone to waltzes even though you love them. It's not hard to deduce from all this that you want my help in some 'lady like dressing', Sherlock. You're not the only smart one around here." He finished, smiling smugly. Ariana sighed. "You're right." She admitted sitting down on his comfortable bed. "I need help." She said, not exactly effortlessly. "No darling, you need a hell lot of help.." Phillip grinned, sitting down beside her. "Okay sorry." He said immediately on looking at Ariana's face. "Can you please put something on?" Ariana asked through clenched teeth. "Why? Is the sight distracting?" He asked smugly, moving closer to her. "Not at all. It's.. disturbing." It was Ariana's turn to smile smugly, realising she had won this round. "Whatever. Can we get down to business now please? I don't have anything to wear." Ariana said. "You do." Phillip replied and got up. "Excuse me?" Ariana asked. "I know wether I hav-" Phillip put a beautiful black gown down on the bed. Ariana drew a sharp breath. The dress was breathtaking. It looked like it was liquid black silk with glitter splashed across it. Phillip put down a pair of glossy black wedges beside them, grinning on seeing the look on Ariana's face. "Phillip.. this is.. beautiful." Ariana said, touching the material delicately. "I know. That's why I thought it would look great on you." Phillip said, making Ariana feel warm inside. "Okay. I'll go and change. Can I change in the room?" She asked sheepishly, hoping Phillip wouldn't ask questions. He didn't. "Sure." Was all he said as he walked into the restroom and shut the door. Ariana felt nervous. Would the dress look good on her? She would have to wear it and find out.
