It was Phillip and Ariana's turn next. Ariana looked around for Katherine. She must've gone in already.. She thought. "Hi. I'm the Imbrus Elder's son's daughter's dog's owner." Phillip said to the shocked butler. Ariana stared at him. Was he nuts?! "Just kidding. She-" he pointed at Ariana. "Is the Imbrus Elder's granddaughter." "Oh. Of course. Your Highness." The butler ushered them through the door. "What was wrong with you?!" Ariana hissed as soon as they were out of earshot. "Relax. See, he let us in, didn't he? The Imbrus elder has a hell lot of grandchildren. Some of them weren't coming for the waltz. So I borrowed their identity for a night." "Yeah. You deserve an award for this." "Oh I don't want an award. I just want to kiss someone on their cheek." He said meaningfully, getting a shove from Ariana. "Hey you can't do that. Behave like a princess." He joked as Ariana made a face at him.
They were in a long passageway all this while. Now they entered the terrace. The first thing Ariana heard was soft music. Bella's lullaby. Then she noticed the terrace. It was decorated with beautiful blue fairy lights, which blinked on and off with time to the music. It was a beautiful night, and the stars were gazing down at the couples waltzing below. The terrace was paved with glass tiles. Ariana sighed in wonder. "Beautiful, isn't it?" Phillip whispered beside her. "Absolutely.." She whispered back, taken in by her surroundings. "C'mon, the dance is about to start." Phillip literally had to drag her to the dance floor. Elsa and Luke were already in their place, holding hands and looking dreamily into each other's eyes. Ariana grimaced slightly but suddenly she wished she and Phillip could share the same feeling. Before she could reconsider her thoughts, Phillip pulled her close to him and held her waist softly. Ariana looked into his eyes and a mixture of feelings swept over her. She wanted to hug him and never let go. Phillip was feeling the same. He gulped at the intensity of her stare. Her large blue eyes were trained on him. And then they danced. Forgot the world and just danced.
Elsa was waltzing along with Luke to a beautiful melody, she couldn't recognise it. She was concious of Luke's thudding heart, wondering If her's was that loud as well. "You're lovely, Elsa." Luke said suddenly. Elsa stared at him and burst into laughter as Luke looked down in embarrassment. He hadn't meant to say it out loud. "Thank you." Elsa said with a little bow, still smiling. Luke grinned. "Have anything to say to me?" He asked her softly. Elsa looked up at him and immediately realised she hadn't noticed how wonderful his smile was. It could light up the entire universe. His dimple peeped out adorably, making her want to touch them. "Yeah. You're lovely too." Elsa laughed at her own joke. Luke laughed again. "Thank you." He said, trying to give a theatrical bow. But his head collided against Elsa's and for a moment their steps faltered. "Ouch." Elsa muttered. "Sorry." Luke apologised sheepishly. "You're so graceful, Luke. You put beautiful ballet dancers to shame." Elsa laughed as Luke grinned and pulled her towards him. Elsa's breath hitched as Luke's lips briefly touched her forehead. He didn't move them away. His breath raced as he kissed her forehead softly. Elsa couldn't breathe. When he finally pulled away, both of their hearts were thumping so loudly it was a miracle no one heard them. Elsa cheeks were red, and Luke's eyes were on the floor. He had never really kissed a girl on her forehead. He usually always went straight for the lips. He wondered why it was different with Elsa. Elsa was thinking about how wrong Ariana was about Luke. This guy could never do anything that would hurt her. And trying to steal the Lapidoss would certainly would've hurt her. So they danced, blissfully oblivious to each other's mistakes.
This isn't right.. Katherine thought. She felt like someone had just shone a torch straight at her through all the fog. She just had to follow the light. Who was she dancing with? He definitely was hot, but he wasn't Zack. Where's Zack? She had to get away from this guy.
Matt felt Katherine wrenching her hand away from his. He pulled her close and tilted her head so she was looking directly into his golden, yes, golden eyes, even as she tried to push him away. "Hush Kath, you're all right now.." he whispered softly, staring deep into her eyes. "You're with me, yeah? You're fine. You're doing perfectly. You're my Kath." Katherine immediately stopped struggling. Her green eyes went wide and her pupils dilated. She was focusing completely on the guy in front of her. "Is Matt happy?" She asked in a monotone. "'Course I'm happy." Matt replied softly, brushing his finger across her cheek, a hungry look in his eyes. "Katherine is doing really well. All you need to do is keep at it. Don't let that Elsa go without extracting all the information from her, okay? That Ariana's a pain in the neck. But you have to behave a bit more normal around her." Matt spoke in a soft soothing voice and Katherine nodded, as if in a trance. They continued dancing as if nothing had happened, Matt pulling Katherine extremely close to him. It would take a really keen oberver to notice that Katherine looked a little different. Her eyes were shining brighter than usual.
