"Thanks to you, everyone got better." I looked at Aang as we finished up packing.

"Yeah, but I had some help." Aang smiled.

"Make another new friend?" I asked him.

"I hope so, someday." he replied cryptically as we all climbed onto Appa.

"How long are you staying with us anyway?" Sokka asked me.

"Wel, either I wait until Zuko shows up, or you drop me off somewhere in fire nation territory." I gave him his options. He frowned and turned away.

"Why are we going to see a fortune teller?" I asked as we walked into town.

"Who knows." Sokka scoffed.

"Aunt Wu is expecting you" we were met with an old man who gestured for us to enter the store.

"Really?" Katara asked.

"If you have a shop at the front of the village, and run this type of business, literally can say that to any new faces to bring in customers." I sighed as we entered the store.

"My name is Meng, and I'm Aunt Wu's assistant." a little girl came up to us. "Can I get you some tea or Aunt Wu's special bean curd puffs?" she asked us.

"I'll take a curd puff!" Sokka was the first to reply.

Sokka was ignored, as the girl was obviously more interested in Aang. "I can't believe we're here in the house of nonsense." Sokka stretched his legs.

"Agreed." I sighed.

"Keep an open mind you two. There are things in this world that just can't be explained." Katara smiled at us.

"Wouldn't it be nice to have some insight into our future?" Katara asked.

"Well then, would that insight actually become your future? Or did it only become your future after you heard about it?" I asked. "If you never hear that fortune, would your future have been any different?" I sighed. "Your future is what you make it. That's what I think." I shrugged.

"Welcome young travelers, now who's next?" We all turned to an elderly woman. "Don't be shy." she smiled.

"Guess that's me." Katara stood up since none of us volunteered ourselves.

Katara came back out shortly after. "Let's get this over with." Sokka stood up.

"Your future is full of struggle and anguish, most of it self inflicted." Aunt Wu told him.

"You didn't read my palms yet!" Sokka held out his hands.

"Don't need to, its written all over your face." Aunt Wu replied. "You there. Come with me." Aunt Wu pointed to Aang and walked away.

Aang came back out and I was asked to enter. "I got nothing to lose, and its free." I got up, and entered the room, seeing Aunt Wu cleaning up broken pieces of bone from the floor.

"I guess, tell me my future then." I sat down on one of the cushions. Aunt Wu smiled holding out her hands. I gave her my own and she read my palms.

"I can see you have had a hard life..." she started.

"Yeah, and?" I asked and she looked at me smiling.

"I see great things in your future. Peace, safety, trust, love." She let go of my hands.

"Love? That's a surprise." I stared at my hands.

"Yes, yes. For your partner, I see that he will be charming, shy, rough around the edges, passionate. However, I can see he will make mistakes. Those that will hurt you and your friends." she smiled at me.

"Friends? what friends?" I thought. "Well, Aunt Wu, that all sounds great but very broad. No offense." I shrugged.

"He will be a bander of great importance in the future. That I guarantee." she smiled.

"Well, thanks." I got up to leave.

The others went to explore the village. I did as well, just on my own. I tried out the restaurants, and cafes in the area. There was then a loud commotion in the village square.

The other three were trying to convince the villagers to evacuate. Obviously, they wouldn't believe what they were saying, since they built and put so much trust in Aunt Wu. They were quickly able to get the book of Aunt Wu's volcano predictions and have her tell the villagers they were in danger.

Everything went according to plan, and we even managed to dig a ditch to hold the lava. "It's too much!" I used the water in my canister to shield ashes from falling on my face.

"It's gonna overflow!" Katara looked around as she and Sokka stepped away from the ditch.

I climbed on top of a nearby building to check the other areas of the ditch, which were holding up well so far. Aang managed to take care of the overflowing lava himself. "Impressive." I thought, sliding down the building. Sokka, Katara and I then went to tell the villagers it was safe to return. After settling everything, and apologizing to Aunt Wu for stealing her things, we left on Appa to the next destination.
