"What is it?" I looked at Aang and Katara. They looked at each other before avoiding the topic and jumping into the water. "What's with them these days.." I shook my head, bending some water to help wash Appa.

"We're surrounded by walls, we'll be fine." I overheard Katara's voice.

I watched as Aang jumped down a cave, and we could hear the echo of his laughing as he went down.

"He should cover up though." I said, jumping down to join them in the water.

"There isn't even a outpost, port or village nearby, what could happen?" Katara asked.

"... You never know.." I sighed as I dipped my hair into the water.

"I've been wanting to ask." I looked up at Sokka. He just finished washing the saddle. "Have you ever used those messenger hawks?"

"Yeah, why? Want to use one?" I asked, washing my face.

"Just curious, how do you guys train them?" Sokka asked.

"Not sure, we never trained them ourselves. But hawks were good at locating people and places, some could fly farther or faster than others. I guess it just happened." I shrugged. "Did you want one?" I asked Sokka.

"Not really, just wondering." he said, going off to do his own thing. I looked at Katara and she just shrugged.

That night, "Guys, your gonna think I'm crazy, but it feels like a metal man is coming." We all woke up to Toph's warning.

"Metal man?" I asked, when a light shone down on Aang from the walls surrounding us.

I squinted my eyes, seeing the glow of a metal arm on him, Aang quickly got up, just in time to block an explosion. Toph got stabilized on her feet first, launching a counter attack. The rocks were blown away by an explosion which Aang helped dissipate. Katara was next, bending water up from the lake towards the man, which turned into large clouds of steam.

We took cover behind a wall as another explosion hit the ground. "This is crazy! How can we beat a guy who blows things up with his mind?!" Sokka asked.

"Blocking line of sight doesn't help either, he'll just blast through it." I said, peeking around the corner.

"We can, jump on Appa. I'll try to distract him." Aang said, running in a different direction.

"He went after Aang. Let's go!" We all ran towards Appa, climbing up and taking flight.

"Anyone know the plan?" I asked as we made our way to the explosions.

"Picking him up I guess." Sokka said as Aang landed on the saddle from above.

"Well, that was random." Toph said while holding onto the saddle.

"I don't think so. I get the feeling he knows who we are." Katara looked down below us.

"Not someone I know of." I looked back at where we escaped from. "I can ask around, see if anyone knows who he is. Most likely, he's an assassin under a contract. He isn't a soldier, that's for sure." I sighed.

We finally landed somewhere, and we were unpacking. "Hey, this yours? Looks important." I looked back at Toph, holding the bracelet.

"It is, thanks." I put it back in my pocket and then saw Aang tell Katara something, and they continued whispering to each other. "Alright, what is it?" I asked them, putting down my sleeping bag.

They looked at each other than Katara walked up to me, placing a hand on my shoulder. "This is just a rumor we read in the magazine, so we don't want you to get hurt over something unconfirmed.." she started.

"Yeah, it's just gossip so.." Aang stood next to Katara.

"Remember that gossip magazine you showed us?" she asked and I nodded.

"In it, there was a story about Zuko, and his new girlfriend." Aang looked away awkwardly, "sorry."

"For what? Hiding it?" I asked, looking at them. "I already knew." I told them, surprising them.

"You aren't upset?" Katara asked.

"Upset about what?" I asked, smiling. The two of them still looked concerned.

"Look, to be honest, sure. When I found out I was sad." I shrugged. "Nothing I can do about it. He decided to go home, I stayed here. He chose what he wanted." I took the bracelet out of my pocket. "Here... I don't need it anymore." I smiled grabbing my sleeping bag to set up.
