Omashu

"Well, this is a predicament." I looked at the other 3.

"I know the war has spread far, but Omashu always seemed untouchable." I looked at Aang. 

"Until now it was." Sokka crossed his arms.

"Only Ba Sing Se is the last remaining Earth Kingdom Stronghold." I sighed.

"This is horrible, but we have to move on." Katara walked up to Aang.

"No, I'm going in to find Bumi." Aang gripped his air glider tightly in his hands.

"Aang stop. We don't even know if Bumi is still-" I elbowed Sokka so he would stop talking.

"What?" Aang asked, looking back at us, "If he's still what?"

"Around." Sokka looked away awkwardly.

"I know you were set on King Bumi, but there are other Masters out there to teach you." I looked at Aang.

"This is about finding my friend, not a teacher." Aang looked back at Omashu.

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" I asked, "Let's find your friend." I smiled at Aang who smiled in return.

"This secret passage sucks" I frowned as we crawled out of the hole.

"Hey!" We looked up to see soldiers. Aang quickly hid the arrow on his head, and I positioned myself in front of him for extra measures. "What are you kids doing out past curfew?" he asked us.

"Sorry, we were just on our way home." Katara answered them, as they we all turned to walk away.

"Wait, what's the matter with him?" We looked at each other, then at Sokka.

"He has Pentapox sir." Katara quickly made something up.

"Highly contagious sir." I stopped him from touching Sokka. "Doctor recommended fresh air is helpful for his health." I smiled at the soldiers.

"Ugh- I'm dying!" Sokka groaned as he wobbled towards the soldiers.

"and it's very deadly." Katara added.

"Hey I think I heard of it; didn't your cousin die from it?" they looked at each other. "We better wash our hands and burn our clothes!" They all ran off.

We walked further into the city, "Where would they be keeping him?" Sokka asked.

"Somewhere he can't bend." I looked around.

"Somewhere metal." Aang added.

"Do you hear that?" I asked and we looked up seeing rocks tumbling down.

Aang quickly destroyed the boulders, catching the attention of some guards. I easily recognized one of them. "Mai?" I thought, pulling up my mask quickly to hide my face, and dodging the daggers she threw at us.

We began to run, Katara took care of two soldiers chasing after us. Next was Mai, who Aang tried to stop by taking down some scaffolding.

"That won't work." I was about to bend the water in my canister when the floor below us disappeared.

"Ow." I sighed looking at the Earth benders around us.

"Is King Bumi with you guys?" Aang asked as they led us to their hideout. "Is he leading the resistance?"

"Of course not. The day of the invasion, we readied ourselves for battle. We were prepared to defend our city, and fight for our lives. Our freedom. Before we had the change, King Bumi surrendered." the man looked at us. 

I looked around at the resistance, they definitely don't have the numbers. From the looks of it, it also seems as if the Fire Nation is covering Omashu in metal plates. "Leaving to fight another day. That's another path to freedom, instead of staying here to fight." I overheard Aang talking to them.

"There are thousands of others who need to leave. How will we get them out?" he asked us.

"Pentapox" Sokka smiled.

The next day we got the sewer squids to make suction marks on the people. "Aang, aren't you coming with?" I looked back at Katara and Aang.

"I'm not going until I find Bumi." Aang told us.

Before Katara could say anything, Aang left. "He'll be okay. Let's help the others." I told Katara who seemed concerned but nodded and we hurried after the others.

Night fell, and Aang finally came back. "We have a problem." We turned to look at the Resistence leader.

"Did someone get left behind?" Katara asked.

"No, we have an extra." He pointed towards Momo.

"Oh no." I sighed, shaking my head. "That's Mai's brother, Tom-Tom." I walked over to Momo, picking up the boy.

"How do you know? I thought you were in exile for 3 years." Sokka asked.

"I have sources. I need to be aware of certain families and what happen to them just in case." I smiled at the little baby. "Your mom is going to be worried." I sighed, fixing his hair.

He cooed and looked down at Momo. Setting him on the floor, he chased after Momo. Sighing, I watched as the baby played with Sokka and Katara.

"He wants a trade." I looked at Aang who was reading a scroll. "His son for King Bumi." he looked at us.

"Definitely too good to be true, if it was anyone else. But if it's them, I think they're telling the truth." I looked at Aang.

We all went with Aang to the trade. Sokka held the baby, and in the distance, three people walked up. "Mai, Ty Lee and .. Azula." I frowned, happy to be wearing my mask. "This is bad." I whispered to Katara. Before she could ask anything further, Mai began speaking.

"You brought my brother?" she asked.

"He's here. We're ready to trade." Aang replied.

Of course, things turned south, the trade was called off and Azula realized Aang was the Avatar.

"We have to get the baby out of here." Katara looked at Sokka. He began running with the kid. "She chi-blocks, she throws daggers, arrows, projectiles basically. Be careful." I warned Katara as I followed Sokka to make sure nothing happens.

We managed to get to Appa no problem. "Over there!" I pointed to Katara as I held Tom-Tom. 

"Got it!" We picked up Katara and then made our way to get Aang.

Aang later returned the baby, ad we left to find his new Earth bending teacher. "So, Ba Sing Se?" I asked.

"No other option, right?" Sokka asked.

"Who were those three?" Katara asked me.

"Mai, the one who threw daggers and stuff. Ty Lee was the chi-blocker who stopped your bending. The other was Princess Azula, Zuko's younger sister." I sighed, shaking my head. "With her, it will be much more annoying from now. Azula, she's... insane is the nicest way to describe her." I looked at the three of them.
