"Thanks for letting us stay here tonight. You have a lovely inn." Katara said as Hama poured out some tea.
"Aren't you sweet. You know, you should be careful." She sat down, "People have been disappearing in those woods you were camping in."
"What do you mean, disappearing?" Sokka asked.
"When the moon is full, people walk in and they don't come out... Who wants more tea?" she asked us.
Everyone just stared at her, "Why do I know that name.." I thought as she showed us to our rooms.
The next morning, we were pulled out to help Hama shop. "People disappearing in the woods and weird stuff during full moons, sounds like spirit world stuff." Sokka said as he readjusted the sword on his shoulder that was carrying eggs.
"I bet if we walk around town, I bet we could find out what these people did to upset the spirits." Aang said as he looked at the villagers.
"Why don't you all take those things back to the inn? I just have to run a couple more errands. I'll be back in a little while." she smiled as she left.
After arriving at the inn, we put everything down. "That Hama seems a little strange. Like she knows or is hiding something." Sokka voiced his concern.
"I don't trust her." I agreed.
"Your being ridiculous." Katara said as she placed down her basket of veggies. "She's a nice woman who took us in and gave us a place to stay. She kind of reminds me of Gran-gran."
"I'm gonna take a look around." Sokka walked further in the house.
"I'll help." I joined him as we went upstairs.
"What are you guys doing? You can't snoop around someone's house." Katara followed us.
"It'll be fine." Sokka opened a door.
"She could be home any minute." Katara warned us.
"Then keep watch." I said as I opened another door.
"You're going to get us all in trouble, and this is just plain rude." Katara lectured us.
"I'm not finished yet." Sokka tried opening another door. "Come on!" he yanked it open and puppets fell out.
"Ok, that's pretty creepy." Aang said as Sokka put away his sword.
"So, she's got a hobby. Nothing weird about that." Katara closed the small closet as Sokka and I continued looking.
"You've looked enough. Hama will be back soon." we ran up to the attic.
"Just an ordinary, puppet loving inn-keeper, huh?" Sokka asked as he struggled to open the door. "Then why does she have a locked door up here?"
"Probably to keep people like you from snooping through her stuff." Katara argued.
"I can open it." I suggested and Sokka shook his head, looking through the key hole.
"It's empty, except for a little chest." Sokka told us.
"Maybe it's treasure!" Toph smiled.
"Open?" I asked him and he nodded. Moving aside, he let me pick the lock.
"What are you doing?! You're breaking into a private room!" Katara was increasingly anxious.
"I have to see what's in there." Sokka said as I opened the door.
"We shouldn't be doing this." Aang looked around.
"You didn't have to follow." I said, putting away my things as Sokka picked up the box.
