Training had finished for the day, but Aang was unable to 'kill' the Melonlord. We were all eating dinner that night. Aang was off to the side, most likely thinking. I saw on the seat lower than Zuko directly in front of him. Leaning back my head would fall in the space between his raised leg and torso.

"I have a surprise for everyone!" We all turned to look at Katara with a scroll.

"I knew it! You did have a secret thing with Haru!" Toph said, making us all stare at her.

"Uh, no." Katara replied. "I was looking for cooking pots in the attic and I found this." She unrolled the scroll. "Look at baby Zuko~ Isn't he cute?" Katara asked, everyone laughing at the cute portrait. "Lighten up, I'm just teasing." Katara told him.

"That's not me. It's my father." Zuko told them, everyone fell silent.

"But he looks so sweet and innocent." Suki pointed to the picture.

"Well, he grew up to be a monster and the worst father in the history of fathers." I looked up at him as he spoke about his father.

"He's still a human being." Aang spoke up.

"You're going to defend him?" Zuko asked.

"No, I agree with you." Aang replied. "Firelord Ozai is a horrible person, and the world will probably be better off without him. But there has to be another way." He looked at us. "This goes against everything I learned from the monks." Aang began pacing again. "I can't just go around wiping out people I don't like."

"Sure you can, your the Avatar." Sokka said. "If its in the name of keeping balance, I'm sure the universe will forgive you."

"No he can't." I rolled my eyes. "Makes him no different than the Fire Lords, current and past." I pointed out.

"This isn't a joke Sokka! None of you understand the position I'm in!" he yelled.

"We do understand Aang, it's just-" We watched as Katara and Aang argued back and forth. "We're trying to help!" she told him.

"Then when one of you figure out a way for me to beat the Firelord without taking his life, I'd love to hear it!" he yelled before storming off.

"Aang, don't walk away from this!" Katara was about to go after him but Zuko stopped her.

"I'll be right back." I told Sokka and Suki, following after Aang. I found him on the second floor. I knocked on the door, walking in and sitting close by.

"Did you have something to say too?" he asked me.

"What do you want me to say?" I asked him.

"That you have a plan." he sighed.

"Well, I do have questions for you to think about." I told him, leaning back against my arms. "What do you think it means to be the Avatar? As the Avatar, what can you do? I know, the answers seem pretty obvious right? Bring balance to the world, stop the Fire Nation and end the war, but how?" I asked him. "When you defeat Ozai, will the world automatically become at peace? Does a 100 years of war, invasion just disappear? Do people who got their land stolen get it back? What about those who settled in new countries? Do they have to leave because they are Fire Nation?" I asked him. "These are all things you have to think about after defeating Ozai, I know. But its something you have to keep in mind as the Avatar. The actions you choose affect everyone. I know you know that, and you should know we all believe you'll make the right choice." I told him.

"I don't think I've heard you talk so much before." He laughed a little.

"Wow, thanks." I rolled my eyes.
