Aang couldn't sleep the day leading up to the invasion, so we all tried different methods to help him. Yoga with Katara, talking with Sokka and whatever Toph was doing. Aang eventually came to me, "My turn?" I asked him.

"Any ideas?" he asked sitting down.

"You know I don't have the best sleep schedule right?" I asked and he nodded. "Well, usually I would recommend either staying up till you collapse or just exercise until you fall asleep. Both ideas don't seem possible in this case."

"Agreed." he sighed.

"Well, when I was younger my brothers would sleep with me, or tell me stories to help me sleep. Those idiots, they would use their bending so that I could watch the story like a play. They were also horrible at storytelling so I always fell asleep really fast." I pat the space next to me. "I don't know if my method will help you get well rested sleep, but I can guarantee a nap." I said as he sat next to me, under a tree that he didn't de-leaf. "Lay down to a comfortable position and close your eyes." I instructed. He did as I asked and I carefully put my hand on his back, slowly petting him. "The main idea, is to ease your nervousness and anxiety by having you fall asleep with someone by you. Having someone talk is just so that you can hear someone, and the petting is to feel that person next to you." I explained, looking down at him.

"My brothers didn't want me staying up as a child since I was still growing. They let me terrorize them all day after working in the palace. Even though they were tired from work, they let me climb on them, chase them around the courtyard. They never got angry at me, when they definitely should have." I glanced down at Aang and he seemed to have fallen asleep.

It didn't last long since he sat up, shooting air into the ground, launching himself. I coughed as the dust cleared and Aang landed beside me. "Nothing?" I asked and he shook his head.

"Thanks anyway." he trudged away.

The day before the invasion, Aang finally got some proper rest. Sokka, Katara and Toph had changed out of their Fire Nation clothing, and back to their own clothes.

"Oh no." Katara said and we all turned. "Do you think the fog will delay the invasion?" she asked.

"That's not fog." I said as I munched on my breakfast jerky.

"Yea, that is the invasion." Sokka smiled, standing up.

We all went down the cliff to meet up with everyone. Toph and Aang made slabs rise up to form walkways for the people on the boats. Sokka and Katara ran to hug their father. I stayed back near the canyon walls, watching as everyone caught up with everyone else.

"Must be nice." I thought, Momo running up and perching on my arm.

"Don't you have some friends you wanna see?" I asked as Momo chirped and then flew off again.

"What happened?" I ran to Katara and Sokka as they came back, and saw their dad's injury. He was unable to continue the fight, so Sokka stepped up to lead. I looked at Katara. "I'll stay. Go with him." I smiled at her.

"But.." she looked at her dad.

"I may not be as good as you, but I can manage that." I knelt down beside her. "Go." I urged her and she looked down at her dad again and nodded, running off.

"You don't seem motivated to fight." Hakoda looked at me.

"Feel free to question my morals, since your not wrong." I sighed, continuing to heal his wound. "I have nothing to protect. No matter who wins, nothing changes for me, it's not like it's my first war. Although if I had to choose, I rather Ozai get taken down, but fighting the soldiers leaves a bad taste in my mouth." I smiled seeing some soldiers had noticed me. "Don't move." I whispered, taking out a rag, wetting it and lightly frosting it and he held it to his wound.
