Western Air Temple

"What was that badge?" I looked at Haru as we walked to the Western Air Temple.

"Uhh guess an ID is the best correlation." I said, "It belongs to Feng. My brother and I saved him and his families life a while back. One of my first missions." I recalled. "He was.. a prisoner of war. His family was being held hostage." I briefly explained. "A liberation group of sorts, made up of Fire Nation farmers, they were unhappy with the war."

"Wow, never heard of those stories." The Duke looked up at me.

"Well, Fire Lord Azulon didn't want the bad publicity. The liberators were imprisoned, some killed, in front of their parents, children, spouses." I sighed.

"Aren't you 17?" Sokka asked me.

"Around there." I shrugged. "I was around 10 on my first mission." I replied.

"Hey. we're here!" We all looked at Toph, and a large canyon ahead of her.

"I think your feet need their eyes checked." Katara replied.

"No, we're here." Aang confirmed.

"It's below us." I nodded.

"You've been here before?" Aang asked and I nodded.

"We didn't take or break anything, promise." I told him, knowing he probably figured out who I was here with.

When we landed, The Duke, Haru and Teo ran off to explore. "Why can't I go?" Aang asked.

"We need to plan our next course of action." I replied, gathering the maps we had.

"We thought you should be a part of it, since your the Avatar." Katara added.

"Fair enough, so what's the new plan?" he asked us. I looked at Sokka.

"Well, if you ask me, the new plan is the old plan." he said.

"Master all 4 elements and defeat the Fire Lord before the comet, that plan?" I asked.

"Exactly!" Sokka smiled.

"Great, yeah. No problem, I'll do just that." Aang laid down on the stone slab.

"No one said it's going to be easy." I shrugged.

"It's not even going to be possible. Where am I supposed to get a firebending teacher?" Aang asked.

"We could look for Jeong Jeong." Katara suggested.

"Who's - never mind. If it's important I'll find out." Toph said.

"I don't remember him either." I leaned against the pillar Toph was sitting on.

"Guess we can't come up with anybody. Why don't we take a nice tour around the temple?" Aang picked up his staff, running off.

"Where the heck did they go?" I walked back to where I was originally, seeing the four of them have returned. "Hey Aang! When your done, help me find Haru and the other two! This place is confusing!" I yelled, jumping off the ledge, using the fountain water to break my fall into a slide.

"I think that'll have to wait." Toph said pointing behind us. Appa moved and Zuko was there.

"Hello, Zuko here." He introduced himself. "I heard you guys flying around down there, so I just thought I'd wait for you here." he told us. Appa roared at him, but then licked him. I looked at Aang, as Appa continued licking him. "I know you must be surprised to see me here." He said, and our eyes locked for a moment before he looked at the others again.

"Not really, you've followed us all over the world." Sokka replied.

"Right, well uh.. anyway, what I wanted to tell you about is that I've changed. And I uhm, I'm good now. Well, I think I should join your group. Oh, and I can teach firebending- to you." I didn't see this ending well, especially not after what everyone went through just hours ago.
