'Shit!! shit !!shit!! Yeh kya kiya tune Arjun?? You just took the advantage of her situation??? You just messed it!! How will I faced her now??' I closed my eyes feeling guilty about my recent act.

'Mein kya karta?? ..she is looking so beautiful that I couldn't able to control myself. Trust me my intention is wrong' I cried muttering to myself.

'Just shut up you fucking idiot!!' my brain screamed at me.

I washed my face , 'No no I have to do something before she kicked me out of the hotel'.

Maya's POV:-

Maya’s POV:

I don't know why Arjun asked me to come on the terrace. How will I face him? His anger is clear, and I deserve it. My name slipped from my lips in that moment, and now I can't erase it. I covered my face, the shame overwhelming me.

Author's POV :-

Maya walked onto the terrace, her heart hammering in her chest. The cool evening breeze did little to calm her racing mind. The incident from earlier played on a loop, and she had no idea how she would explain herself to him. Her pulse quickened as she saw Arjun standing at the far end of the terrace, his back to her.

Maya bit her lip nervously.

"Arjun..." she whispered, barely audible over the wind. He turned slowly, his intense gaze locking with hers. She took a deep breath, unsure of how to explain or even where to start.

“Can you listen to me first, please?” he said, his voice softer than she expected.

Maya opened her mouth, but no words came out. She nodded slowly, dropping her gaze, unable to hold his penetrating stare. Her fingers fidgeted nervously, unsure of what he was about to say, and she mentally braced herself for his anger.

Without warning, Arjun gently took her hand in his. The warmth of his touch sent a jolt through her, startling her. His grip was soft but firm, and it took everything in her not to pull away in confusion.

“Maya…” he started, his voice low, almost hesitant, “I was supposed to be pretending to be your boyfriend, right?”

Maya felt her breath catch. This was it—he was going to tell her how angry he was, how everything had gone too far.

“But…” He paused, looking down at their joined hands before his eyes met hers again. His gaze softened, and a strange vulnerability flickered in his eyes. “I think… I can’t pretend anymore.”

Her heart skipped a beat. His words confused her, and she felt a lump form in her throat. Tears pricked her eyes as guilt washed over her. She had ruined everything, hadn’t she? He wasn’t just angry—he was disappointed in her. And the thought crushed her.

“I started falling for you, Maya,” he whispered, his voice barely above the sound of the wind.

Her eyes shot up, wide with shock. Did she hear him right?

Arjun gave a small, almost pained smile as he nodded, as if confirming her silent question. “Yeah... I’ve fallen for you.”

For a moment, time seemed to stand still. Maya’s breath hitched, and her mind went blank. She had been preparing for his anger, for him to end everything, but instead…

“I love you, Maya,” he said, his voice steady, though his thumb gently brushed against her hand, a nervous habit she hadn’t noticed before. “And I’m tired of pretending it’s just a game or an act. This… what we have, it’s real for me. And I don’t want to keep hiding it anymore.”

Maya felt tears spill over.

"I know I have crossed  a line some times ago,for that please forgive me ...it will not happen again,”

Arjun continued, his eyes searching hers for any sign of rejection. “And maybe you don’t feel the same. But I had to tell you, Maya. I couldn’t go on pretending, not when every moment with you makes me want more.”

She looked up at him, her voice barely a whisper, “Arjun, I…”

But before she could finish, Arjun gently cupped her face, wiping away the tears that had fallen.

“You don’t have to say anything, Maya. Just… let me love you, whether you’re ready for it or not.”

Before he could make her cry more, she jumped into his arms, clutching him with everything she had, her fingers tangling into the back of his shirt as if she was holding on for dear life.

'I love you too Arjun...I love you so much .Every time you smiled at me, every time you acted like my fake boyfriend, it felt too real. And it scared me because I didn’t know if you felt the same'.

He laughs pulling her from the ground hugging her tightly,

'Really??'

She nods her head giggling.

He kisses her entire face making her laugh.

But her laughter soon died on her mouth as he hungrily took her lips into a passionate kiss.

She moans out loud clutching his hair kissing him back in equal favour.

He was literally eating her🌚

Both flinches hearing some sound as they saw some children runs away from there.

Both then looks at each other and laughs out loud understanding the situation.
