Chapter 16

Third person's pov

Spring has already started and the weather has started becoming warm. The art University is crowded because of the exhibition they’re holding and students of different majors gathered at the place. Some came because of their duties and some just for fun. 

The three girls walk in the university busy bickering and giggling gaining much attention. Why not? All three of them were beautiful. And new faces obviously gain attention.

“I am jealous of you two. You'll have fun and I'm going for my duty.” Mia irked.

“Well, we are luckier than you.” Jules smirks.

“Oh, peace out you two. Mia, it's just for an hour. The exhibition is for the whole day, you'll get time to have fun.” Kiara says and Mia pouts.

“Still….” Mia utters and Jules rolls her eyes.

“You are not alone here, Mia.” They snap their heads towards the sound and there stands Kevin and Jacob.

Mia looks up to Kevin and feels nervous at an instant cursing herself. Their eyes locked for a minute and Mia was the first one to look away.

“Oh you are here already?” Kiara exclaims grinning widely.

They shook each other's hand greeting everyone. Mia and Kevin felt sparks when their hands met but they still didn't say anything to each other.

“Mia, you are strangely silent today.” Jacob utters and Mia almost chokes on her bubble tea because everyone is looking towards her especially Kevin.

“Uhm, I'm just tired I guess?” Mia says, clearing her throat.

“Are you asking or telling us?” Jules asks.

“I mean, Yeah… I'm tired!” Mia utters laughing awkwardly waving her hand.

“You are behaving strangely.” It's Kevin this time who muttered, narrowing his eyes.

“Guys stop being nosy!” Mia whines.

Everyone laughs. They were in a cafe having their own preferable beverages. As there's an hour left for both Mia and Kevin's duty.

“So Mia how's working with the boy group.” Kiara asks, gulping her strawberry smoothie.

“They are good.” Mia utters shrugging.

“Anyone caught your eye?” Jules asks and Mia instinctively snaps her head towards Kevin to find out he was already looking at her intensely.

She clears her throat and lets out a nervous chuckle. “No. I have better taste.” Mia says. “Yeah like that Jona-”  Jules purses her lips when Mia glares at her.

“I bet at least one of the seven of them must've got a crush on Mia.” Jacob exclaims winking at Kevin who rolls his eyes.

“I agree.” Kiara joins.

“Oh Jake. Stop it!” Mia says.

“I'm serious… like who would not have a crush on you at least once?” Jacob questions and Kevin clenches his jaw when Mia smacks Jacob's thigh playfully.

“You know, once we were at a college festival and Mia caught a guard's eyes. He was just so busy staring at her that many people sneaked in without an entry pass.” Jules lets out a laugh and everyone joins except Mia and Kevin.

“What about you, Kevi baby? You are so hot. Must've received many proposals.” Jules asks. Kevin shakes his head, “I don't lead them on so they would conclude that I'm a guy full of attitude so they never approach.”
