Chapter 10

Third person's pov

“Don't get too close with them.”

Mia turned to look at the male and gasped when she was pulled into a tight embrace. Confusion took over her to register what just happened.

And Kevin held Mia so tightly as if to never let go of her. The uneasy feeling he had a minute ago vanished away by the sweet intoxicating scent of vanilla and strawberry.

Mia wrapped her hands over Kevin's neck and drew circles on his back, caressing the muscled back.

After a minute Kevin pulled away and Mia looked up with her sparkly doe eyes.

“You told me to greet you with a hug, next time we meet.” Kevin whispered.

“Yeah, I said that but I didn't expect you to comply with that. Aren't you getting bolder?” Mia uttered letting out a laugh.

Kevin nodded, “Only for you.”, frowning to confirm if Mia's blushing or he's imagining things.

“So I'll get going?” Mia asked.

“Yeah, yeah. Bye.” Mia waved her hands in return.

Mia walked in the direction of the hall where the boys are supposed to meet her. She bit her lower lip to suppress a smile.

She saw fear in his eyes while he said those lines to not to get close with others.

Fear of getting replaced.

Fear of being forgotten by someone special.

Fear of being ignored.

Fear of being dragged to the old lonely life.

Mia wondered how she could read Kevin so clearly and their recent interactions makes Mia feel giddy.Kevin is a mystery which Mia is desperate to solve.

She reached the hall within minutes and all the seven boys greeted her by a slight bow and Mia smiled back.

She took out her measuring tape from her bag and started taking measurements of their shoulders, waist and height. She assigned a boy to write down the measurements which she was reciting.

After half an hour all the measurements were taken and Mia excused the boys so that they could continue their practice.

She turned on her phone and saw the series of notifications.

She sighed before opening them.

Guys that blind date girl ditched me.

Jules:
🤣🤣🤣

Kiara:
I'm sorry for you.

Jacob:
Even Kevin is not picking up my phone!

Now where am I supposed to go dressed like this?

Jules:
Serves u right. Remember u scarred my date away once?

Jacob:
Can't believe u r still holding grudge against me 😒

Kiara:
We just finished our work. Wanna meet up everyone?

Jules:
What abt Mia?

Mia:
I'm free too.

Jacob:
Mia, bring Kevin with u.

Mia:
From where?

Jacob:
He must be in the library. He's not picking up my phn and the library is near ur hall so, will u??
