#05 : Will

Y/n woke up from a ringing that came from her phone, once again she heard a banging from the room beside her, she felt deja vu struck her body as yachi yelled, "dude people has to stop calling you so early in the morning! answer that already!"

Y/n looked at the phone and it showed her that she was receiving a call from an unknown number, she would've probably ignored it if she was fully awake but she wasn't so she answered it instead.

"Hello?" groggily she answered, and a man greeted her from the other line, "hello? is this y/n l/n?"

She sat up slowly since it didn't sound like someone who prank calls, "Yeah? Who's this?"

"This is Akiteru's lawyer, my name is kamado takahiro. As you probably know, he died last week in a car accident and apparently in his written will, he had given you his restaurant along with someone else." y/n's face was painted with confusion,

she always thought her and Akiteru were close but not that close to have given her a fully made restaurant. "What?" is all she could say, the person in the other line continued talking.

"I know this might come off as a shock to you, but you can think about it, I mean you do have a choice to not accept it, but it says here that he would be delighted if you could agree to take over it, As for now I can't tell you who the other person is, unless we meet up and talk about the entire will that is about your inheritance. Thank you for listening, let's keep contact. I'll be here when you make your decision."

And with that he hang up, without even letting y/n say anything back, he just left her in shock.

Tsukishima Kei, woke up with the same phone call, confused, but not as shocked as y/n was, he told the lawyer that he will take responsibility for the restaurant since that's really the only thing he can do for his dead brother.

He was confused to who might be the other one who was written with him on the will to have the restaurant, but he didn't really think much of it.

Y/n talked over it with yachi and kiyoko, and they were as shocked as she was, "Dude what if it's tsukishima? like there's a pretty big chance that it is you know?" kiyoko said sitting down on the kitchen island.

"I mean they are brothers—plus he didn't have a girlfriend, atleast that we know of" yachi who was filling up her bottle full of ice cold water added, "I would literally die if it's him" y/n replied streching on the yoga mat.

"Let's talk about it more later, I need to go meet up with yamaguchi in the gym, might as well put the free membership into use right?" the blonde rushed out of the kitchen before the two could say anything, "They're definitely going to date" the h/c haired girl said and kiyoko hummed and nodded in agreement.

"You're gonna take over it right? i mean it's the right thing to do" the girl said while she looked at the blonde infront of her who was sipping coffee.

He made eye contact with her, "Yeah of course, i mean it's the only thing my brother left me behind, im just curious to who else he gave it to"

"Look kei, i have something to say—" before she could finish tsukishima's phone started ringing, "hold that thought" he says before picking up the phone and going outside of the coffee shop.

Nao smiled at him as a response, she wasn't able to come to the funeral since she was out of the country because of her mother who had an important surgery that week.

She's been friends with kei since high school graduation, and as you'd probably expect she had taken interest in him, romantically. He doesn't have a clue of what she feels towards him, because well, he's kind of slow when it came to that kind of stuff.

I mean kei is a pretty smart guy, for god sake the guy works in a science lab all day but he doesn't have any clue when it comes to people showing adoration for him.

Even when they were in college, hundreds of girls took interest in him but he never knew, at least not until they tell him. So it was fairly easy for Nao to hide her feelings, but she wasn't planning to hide it anymore, she wants to let him know, whatever the aftermath of this risk will give her, she just needed him to know, but not now.

Kei came back after a while, and sat back down where he was sitting before, "Sorry, that was the lawyer, he said that the other person agreed to meet up tomorrow" he sighed as he sipped more of his coffee, "That's great, isn't it?" she looked at him confused because he didn't seem so glad about the news.

"Well not great, but im just curious to who it can be"

After half an hour of talking kei stood up, "Okay well im glad your mom is doing alright, i have to cut our reunion short, i have a board meeting today" Nao frowned at the news "nooooo, i wanted to catch up more, i guess you're a busy man now huh"

"Unfortunately" the blonde sighed. They exited the cafe, he gave her a short hug and waved goodbye since they were going separate ways.
