#08 : Wish you were sober

"I think im gonna marry him" kiyoko sighed softly holding the bouquet of flowers that got delivered a few hours ago, while yachi and y/n looked at her with furrowed brows, "are you talking about tanaka?" yachi who was typing on her phone looked at her, "duh, I don't have any other dudes on my phone who do you think i am"

Yachi laughed and just continued typing on her phone, "now what about you? i mean seriously when are you gonna start to seriously date someone, and your books are doing great you can't use them as an excuse anymore" kiyoko turned to the h/c haired girl who just looked at her funny.

They were drunk, which technically wasn't the plan since they just planned to drink one glass of wine and it ended up being one bottle. Y/n was about to hit her face on the table because she was dozing off, then suddenly her phone rang.

It was an unknown number, again. "Before you say any...anything that's probably—gonna be out of pocket like my ex boyfriend's brother's who just died by the way, lawyer tell me that he just gave me a restaurant for no reason at all, im gonna tell you to not tell me whatever you wanted to say because too much is happening and I haven't even done a decision yet."

She said between hiccups, "Oh, so you haven't decided? it's been 1 week, and are you drunk?" A familiar voice echoed through the room, "You sound like someone I knowww" she dragged the last few letters, "it's kei"

Y/n suddenly raised from the table, trying her hardest not to stutter she replied, "Ew, where did you get my number, you stalker."

"You didn't change your number" kei sternly said, trying to sound as serious as possible knowing this is kind of a funny situation, atleast for him. Y/n laughed as kiyoko looked at her with a straight face as she wasn't that drunk, she wasn't sure y/n she was talking to but she knew that voice, "You never deleted my number? you want me soooo bad it's insane"

"Okay whatever you say, im not gonna argue with a drunk person especially you, when you're drunk you're just extra stupid so, I'll hang up now" kei said with a joking tone,

Y/n groaned "Here you go again, leaving me. you know I never really cared about the distance, like I had soooo much faith that we will make it work you know? that maybe you'll visit me and I'll visit you and we'll celebrate every holiday together, but apparently you didn't want that because you're a cheater and you're a coward" she laughed while rolling her eyes, he didn't know what to say he just stayed still not moving.

Kiyoko realized what was going on and immediately took the phone from the girl, "heyy tsukishima, uhm we're gonna go now thanks for call—"

Y/n stole the phone back again, "you're such a cheater! you cheat all the time, i remember that one chemistry exam where you cheated because you didn't study the night before because you were too busy planning how we would celebrate our 3rd year anniversary, and yes I do remember that, I bet you don't cause you don't love me anymore!" she yelled sounding hurt.

Kiyoko hanged up the phone and realized that y/n would totally regret that tomorrow, on the other hand kei was surprised, he never told her about the exam, nor the planning, he thought that she never knew about anything, since she never talked about it, and again he never informed her about anything.

He looked to the side of the bed, looking at nao's face that was sleeping peacefully, for a minute he imagined it was y/n laying beside him, then he realised that was a bad idea. He turned to the other side, as he tried to shake the thoughts of y/n and tried to remember how bad their relationship was instead.

Or more like how bad it ended, to again, remember why they were bad for each other.

[timeskip to the morning]

Y/n woke up with a banging headache, and a ringing on her ear, 'am I fucking deaf' she thought as she slowly sat up, she looked through her phone for a bit and saw that she had a 15 minute call with an unknown number. "Who the fuck"

The three girls looked at each other like they were dying internally, like literal, they felt like their kidneys were bleeding which probably wasn't normal but they decided to just drink coffee.

"Yo I saw that I had a 15 minute call with an unknown number yesterday night, do anybody of you remember or even know who it was" y/n yawned, and kiyoko looked at her fixing her glasses, trying to remember things that happened last night "oh yeah uhm, tsukishima called you last night for some reason, and you started talking to him about how he's a cheater and something about a chemistry exam, I remember it being pretty bad" she hissed by the thought of it.

Y/n just stared at her blinking a couple of times, "kill me now." yachi laughed "oh im so bummed that I missed that, I think I was already sleeping" she frowned.

"I'm so embarrassed, im literally gonna jump off from the balcony right now" the other two laughed at her still feeling bad but they couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
