"No what I don't understand is you messing around with all these girls, i don't understand what you're trying to prove to me kei." she sighed looking at the guy who just sat, looking down at the dirty floor. "I know that me moving is a big adjustment, but you can't tell me you're gonna be willing to try long distance with me, but you're already fucking up, and im not even out the country yet."
There was a long pause before he spoke, "So let's break up."
Y/n gasped for air, drops of cold sweat rolled down her forehead, she then realised all of it was just a dream. She went back to laying down on her bed, but she couldn't help but think about the things that went down when kei and her broke up back in summer after their high school graduation.
She said she's gotten over the whole thing, well seeing kei after all these years made her rethink if she really was over him. She's been having dreams of what happened between them, dreamt about conversations she thought she doesn't even remember anymore, turns out it was just buried back in her brain, waiting for something to make her relive them again.
She thought that all these years would've healed all the pain she went through, maybe it did, but there was still something that's making her remember all of it.
For a minute y/n thought that tsukishima kei wasn't that bad, but remembering all the fights, insults and the past she had with him made her forget all of him being not so bad, and him changing didn't even enter her brain since the recent interactions between them proved he's still the same person she left behind when she went to New York.
It's been 3 days after she met up with kei and akiteru's lawyer, she felt embarrassed of how much of a scene they caused infront of him. She's trying her hardest to ignore the paperwork takahiro gave them, since she doesn't want to deal with everything right now.
As much as she wanted to honor akiteru and be respectful to his wishes since he was a very good friend and overall person, it still meant she had to work with kei, because no way in hell he'd deny to take over the restaurant, he loved his brother too much to do that.
"Wait—did you find out who else akiteru gave the restaurant to?" Nao said in between kisses with the blonde, kei groaned at the memory of what happened 3 days ago, "Yeah, uh it's y/n" he replies gripping her waist placing her up on the kitchen table, she stopped kissing his neck and looked him in the eyes, disturbed and shocked at the same time.
"You mean y/n l/n? the one you dated like the whole time in high school?"
"Yes, unfortunately that y/n. I really don't understand why akiteru would give it to her too, I mean his lawyer said that he made this will when he was 25, so that meant I was in my fourth year of high school, and I guess he thought we'd be in college together, i have no idea why he didn't update the will after we broke up though"
Nao looked at kei who had a weirdly curious face, before she could say anything kei spoke, "Actually, let's continue this some other time yeah? I have to call someone and I need to get back to the office." He gave her a kiss goodbye, and left, leaving her speechless.
Him and nao have been having these weird hookups for a couple of months and nao didn't dare talk about it to him, she was scared she'll make it weird and the whole thing would end, she couldn't let it be over since it was the closest thing that she could show her love for him without it being too much.
She did look like an idiot, seeming thirsty waiting for him all the time, but she was planning on telling him how she feels, she just needed the right timing, and now she felt threatened.
Nao knew how much kei loved y/n, and he could deny it all he wants, but she knew a part of him still love her, and Nao was planning to make all of him forget all of her.
