"It's great doing business with you two, although it took us like 2 weeks. And just word of advice, you should try to stop being so against each other, you work well together." kei and y/n looked at each other and rolled their eyes, takahiro chuckled and shook both their hands.
It took for takahiro a lot of convincing just for them to be civil with each other for a day, since he was tired of them meeting and just arguing the whole entire time. The two were left inside the restaurant, silence taking over.
"Now what?" y/n spoke up still not doing eye contact with the tall blonde that just crossed his arms over his chest, "he told us that we can open it back again anytime we wanted, I guess we can go from there"
"But the place is kind of a mess though." y/n said while doing a whole 360, looking around the place, "i mean don't get me wrong your brother's taste is better than yours but don't you think it's a bit too...old?"
"That insult wasn't needed, but yeah for once you are right" kei sighed, the whole place didn't look bad, it just looked very old fashioned, antiques were all over the place, which wasn't horrible, it looked great with the theme the restaurant had, but they actually wanted the restaurant to not be bankrupt 3 years from now.
They knew they had to do something about it.
But y/n had other thoughts in her mind, the two never spoke about the drunken situation the last time they had a phone call, y/n thought that kei was gonna bring it up the meeting they had after it, to tease her and call her immature, but he didn't. He teased her about different things but not about that, she figured that maybe he had forgotten about it, at least she hoped.
"Okay, first of all, if you really want this whole restaurant thing to workout, you have to at least be the most bearable you can be, to me." she said as they both sat down on one of the dusty brown chairs, kei looked at her for a minute, not breaking eye contact with a straight face.
He sighed, "fine, just as long as you'll be bearable and not be annoying as well." she furrowed her eyebrows, "im never annoying, what are you talking about" kei laughed like y/n just proved his point, "that's what im talking about"
"What? you don't make sense." she furrowed her eyebrows even more leaning back on the chair, "you're just so defensive" he explained, as the girl in front of him just showed him an annoyed and confused face , "no, I'm correcting you, because im not annoying"
"Sure, whatever you say"
"And that's what im talking about, you're so not bearable, you're so sarcastic all the time, and people get confused if you're actually saying the truth or not." she huffed, kei leaned back on the chair, "okay fine, I'll try to not be sarcastic to you, because you're just so sensitive, but you also have to promise to not be annoying and offended all the time" y/n sighed at him as she cracked her fingers thinking of what to say.
She squints, "fine, although I don't know what you're talking about, im not annoying in the slightest"
"Can I be sarcastic for the last time?" Kei was genuinely slightly smiling and y/n haven't seen that in a while, since all the other times he did it was all fake, she bit the inside of her lip, she just nodded as a response.
"You're totally not annoying" he said in a sarcastic tone.
"Haha, you're so funny" y/n faked a laugh and kei let out an airy chuckle.
'Maybe this won't be so bad' they both thought as they got in their cars, exiting the parking lot and heading to wherever they needed to go.
