Kei woke up with a sore head, feeling like his brain was all over the place, literally. It was the morning after yachi and yamaguchi's party, he scrolled to his messages app to cancel with y/n about their plans to go to the restaurant.
He slowly stood up, and to his surprise Nao walked in his room, "Great, you're awake! I cooked you some soup, you must be so hungover right now" she smiled walking towards him, setting the soup down on his bedside table.
"Oh, thanks. Did you sleep here?" he asks, putting on his glasses, nao shook her head, "nope i arrived like 10 minutes ago, i cooked some soup in my house cause i wanted some and i figured you maybe needed it too" she smiles and sat down beside kei.
He started eating the soup while nao talked about the things that happened last night, not saying the stuff that happened with between y/n and him.
He just listened to her not saying a word, but then an image of him hugging y/n on the sidewalk appeared in his mind for a second. He shuddered at the thought, nao noticed,
"What's wrong?"
Kei cleared his throat, "Nothing, did anything happen with y/n last night?" nao started trying to recall anything that happened, but she shook her head, "nope, atleast not that i can remember"
Kei was confused, since she didn't drink at all that night, or at all, nao never drinks, it's kind of impossible for her to forget things, but he just let it go since it might just be his hangover.
"What's your plans for today?" nao asked kei while he just looked at her with a suspicious face, "uh you mean to ask do I want to stay home all day? spoilers, im staying home all day" he smiled jokingly.
"Noooo, cmon let's go somewhere fun or something, you barely hanged out with me" she frowned, while kei looked at her with a tired look, "I'll think about it, let me sleep for a couple more hours then maybe we can go somewhere at night"
"YAYY, i have to go somewhere for a little bit, I'll come back and I'll check up on you. Advil is just here if you need, and a water bottle is under your table. Bye bye" she smiles, he just nodded as a response and waved goodbye.
[timeskip]
Y/n didn't do anything the whole day but be a couch potato and watch shows, which she wasn't complaining but kiyoko and yachi were both going out to go on a double date, they invited her to come too but y/n said it will be to couple-y and she'll just wanna puke the entire time, so she denied.
Now she's all alone in the apartment after binge watching the same romance anime for the millionth time already.
She ordered some dinner earlier, and it was just 8:40, kiyoko and yachi probably won't be back until late at night, so she was bored out of her mind now.
Then she remembered about what kenji texted her earlier.

Turns out kenji lived only a couple minutes from her building so he just walked to her, he called her to say that she was in front of her apartment building.
She quickly turned off her lights and locked her door, she saw kenji standing in front of the big see through door wearing a pair black plaid pajamas and a big white hoodie.
The sliding door opened, she tapped his shoulder, and he turned around.
"Hey" y/n smiled at him, kenji smiled back and leaned forward to give her a hug, "long time no see" he laughs and y/n just smiled at his joke.
"I'm sorry again, for ditching you last night"
Kenji laughed lightly with his hands inside his hoodie pocket, "I told you it's okay, I understand the situation, plus this walk is more than enough of an apology" y/n just stayed silent after what he said.
He noticed her silence, so he tried to make some sort of conversation, "But I am interested though, what is it with you and this dude?" she pursed her lips together, she knew exactly who she was talking about as she tried to come up with something to say.
"Okay well, it all started in first year of high school"
Kenji laughs, "Okay I know this is gonna be a long story time, so don't leave out a single detail."
A small smile showed up at y/n's face, "Okay, you asked for it"
