~Kim Taehyung

It had been a month since Taehyung was discharged from the hospital, and life was slowly starting to settle into a new rhythm. There was a lightness in the air at the house, a warmth that seemed to linger from the day Dr Hoseok, or Hobi hyung as Taehyung fondly called him, showed up dressed as a giant sunflower. Hoseok visited frequently, and it had become a routine for Taehyung to look forward to. What Taehyung didn't know, though, was that Hoseok was actually his therapist. To him, Hobi hyung was just a kind, playful figure who always seemed to know how to bring a smile to his face.

During this month, Taehyung's progress had been remarkable. He was much more talkative now, his laughter ringing through the house, and his eyes, which had once looked so lost, sparkled with a hint of a new Taehyung, bright and full of life. Jungkook had noticed these changes, and it made his heart swell with hope. He was trying his best to let go of the hesitancy that had lingered from the past, though it wasn't easy. Both he and Taehyung were still getting used to the idea of being a married couple, they stayed in separate bedrooms and acted more like friends than anything else. But they had become good friends in that time, and Jungkook found himself enjoying these little moments of closeness that were slowly becoming a part of their daily life.

One evening, Taehyung was sprawled out on the living room floor, lying on his stomach as he doodled on a sketchpad. Hoseok had just arrived and was sitting cross legged beside him, pretending to be deeply invested in Taehyung's artwork.

"Hyung, do you think I should add a sun here?" Taehyung asked, glancing up at Hoseok with a thoughtful expression. "Or is that too much?" He scrunched his nose in that adorable way he always did when he was thinking hard about something.

Hoseok laughed, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You should definitely add a sun," he said, leaning over to look at the drawing. "You can have too much sunshine, right? Besides, it suits you."

Taehyung tilted his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Suits me?" he echoed curiously.

"Yeah...." Hoseok said, nodding with enthusiasm. "Because you're like a little sun yourself, spreading warmth wherever you go."

Taehyung giggled, his cheeks turning a faint pink. "If I'm the sun, then you're my sunflower, Hobi hyung," he declared, lifting his drawing to show Hoseok the small doodle of a sunflower right beside the sun he had added. "See? You're always following me around, keeping me company."
