"There's nothing in that old well but cold stones and darkness," Grandpa spoke.

Kagome wanted to believe her grandpa, to brush off the dream as nothing more than a product of her imagination. But deep down, she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more to it, something sinister lurking beneath the surface.

"Maybe you're right," Kagome said, forcing a smile.

"It was just a nightmare. I'm sure I'm just tired and scared. It was dark down there." Kagome says.

Kagome shuddered as she remembered how cold and damp the well had been. The thought of a hot bath was incredibly appealing to her right now.

"You know, a bath does sound really good right now," Kagome admitted, rubbing her arms like she was still cold.

"Do you mind if I go take one?" Kagome asks.

Her grandpa nodded, a concerned but understanding look on his face.

"Of course, Kagome. Take a nice, warm bath and try to relax. It will help you feel better." Grandpa says.

Kagome smiled gratefully at her grandpa, feeling comforted by his words. She was tired and chilled; a hot bath would do wonders for her weary body and mind.

Kagome turned to Sota, who was still watching her with a worried expression.

"I'm alright, Sota. Don't worry about me, okay?" Kagome smiled.

Kagome's emotions finally overflowed as she saw her mom. She rushed over and threw her arms around her, tears streaming down her face.

"Mom..." Kagome sobbed, her voice choked with fear and relief.

"I was so scared..." Kagome admitted.

Her mom wrapped her arms around Kagome, holding her tight as she soothed her with gentle words.

"Sshh, it's okay, dear. You're safe now. You're home." Mom says.

Kagome's grandpa and Sota approached her, their eyes full of concern. They could see the fear and anxiety in her face, and their hearts ached for her.

Kagome's tears streaming down her face, as she threw herself into their arms, hugging them tightly. She desperately sought comfort in their embrace, needing to be reassured and protected.

Kagome held onto her family as if her life depended on it. She buried her face into her grandpa's chest, tears staining his shirt. Her mom stroked her hair soothingly, trying to calm her down.

Sota wrapped his arms around her waist, his head resting on her shoulder. He whispered words of comfort in her ear, assuring her that everything was going to be alright.

Kagome lifted her head from her grandpa's chest, her eyes red and puffy from crying. The thought of the warm bath was incredibly tempting, a chance to soothe her frayed nerves and find some solitude.

Kagome nodded gratefully at her mom, giving her a watery smile.

"Thank you, Mom... I think I'll go take that bath now." Kagome softly smiled.

Kagome had almost forgotten about the clothes she was wearing – her clothing, so out of place in this time period. Sota, in his innocent curiosity, pointed it out, asking her about the strange attire.

Kagome hesitated for a moment, unsure how to explain. She didn't want to scare them further with her story about the well, not now.

"Oh... these?" Kagome, gesturing to her clothes.* "It's... a costume. For a play at school." Kagome says.
