"Damn... she was a comb all along, huh?" InuYasha said.

Kagome raised an eyebrow at InuYasha's observation, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. She glanced at the comb, then back at him. There was a mix of amusement and wonder in her gaze.

"I didn't expect that," Kagome admitted, her voice carrying a touch of surprise. She chuckled and looked at the comb once more. "A shape-shifting comb... who would've thought?"

InuYasha shrugged, his expression slightly annoyed.

"Just when I thought I have seen it all, a damn comb ends up being our enemy." InuYasha let out a huff of frustration, his eyes narrowing as he continued.

"How the hell did a comb even become like this in the first place?" InuYasha said.

Kagome chuckled lightly at InuYasha's irritation, amused by his reaction. She glanced at the comb in her hand and studied it further, her mind racing with curiosity. Her tone was light but laced with intrigue as she responded.

"I guess we'll never know the whole story," Kagome replied, her voice laced with a touch of amusement. She looked up at him, her expression thoughtful.

"But, I wonder if there are more creatures like Yura out there, waiting to be discovered." Kagome said.

InuYasha's expression darkened as Kagome mentioned the possibility of encountering more creatures like Yura. He crossed his arms, his voice gruff but concerned.

"Please don't even plant that thought in my head," InuYasha grumbled. Despite his tough exterior, a hint of worry crept into his tone as he continued. "One homicidal comb is more than enough for me."

InuYasha's eyes scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign of the jewel shard. He turned to Kagome, urgency in his voice.

"The jewel shard... did you find it?" InuYasha asks.

Kagome looked around as well, her eyes eventually settling on a spot where Yura's clothing lay. She spotted the jewel shard glinting amidst the fabric and pointed it out.

"There, over there!" Kagome called out.

InuYasha followed Kagome's gaze, his eyes zeroing in on the glinting jewel shard amongst Yura's clothing. A mix of relief and satisfaction washed over him.

"Good eye," InuYasha said, a hint of gratitude in his voice, as he walked over and picked up the shard.

Kagome smiled, her chest swelling with a mix of pride and relief. She walked over to InuYasha, her eyes studying the jewel shard in his hand.

"We got it," Kagome mused, her voice tinged with a hint of contentment. She looked up at him, a small, satisfied smile on her lips. "One more shard down."

InuYasha grunted in pain as the adrenaline started to wear off, the wound on his chest catching up to him. He instinctively put a hand over it, wincing at the sting.

"Ah, damn it..." InuYasha muttered, his face contorting in discomfort.

Kagome noticed the wince on his face and immediately remembered the red kimono she was wearing.

"Oh!" Kagome exclaimed, realization hitting her. Her eyes widened with concern, and she carefully started to remove the red kimono, her voice a mix of worry and apology.

"InuYasha, I'm so sorry. It's because of me... I was wearing your red kimono." Kagome said.

InuYasha noticed the worry written all over Kagome's face and softened his expression.
