***"But, InuYasha, you're hurt..." Kagome protested, her voice laced with concern and a hint of frustration.
InuYasha's expression hardened as he heard her words, a flicker of irritation crossing his face. He had to admit, he was hurt, but he refused to let that slow him down or worry her any further.
"I'm fine, damn it!" InuYasha retorted, his voice a mix of annoyance and stubbornness. "Don't worry about me! Just stay there and stay safe!"
InuYasha summoned his blood blades once more, the sharp edges flickering to life. His eyes narrowed as he aimed them straight for Yura, targeting her hand. With a swift motion, the blades sliced through the air, slicing through Yura's hand and causing her to cry out in pain.
InuYasha noticed the looseness in the binding around his arms and legs, a small sliver of hope igniting within him. Perhaps there was an opportunity to break free and turn the tides of the battle.
"Looks like your hair is starting to give way," InuYasha taunted Yura, a flicker of a smirk crossing his face.
Kagome watched from within the safety of the red kimono, her heart racing as she noticed the change in Yura's hair. She knew this might be their chance. She took a deep breath, her voice filled with urgency.
"InuYasha, now's your chance! Use the opportunity to break free and attack her!" Kagome said.
InuYasha's ears perked at Kagome's words, her encouragement bolstering his determination. With renewed energy, he focused on the weakened strands of hair constraining him.
"Right!" InuYasha barked out, his voice filled with determination. With all his strength, he pulled at the thinning bonds, straining against them, his muscles bunching with effort.
InuYasha groaned as his body hit the ground, his injuries taking a toll on his strength. Despite the pain and exhaustion, he refused to give up. Using his last bit of energy, he pushed himself up, shoving the hair aside and thrusting his hand forward into Yura's chest, creating a gaping hole.
InuYasha grunted as Yura smashed his hand, a wave of pain shooting through him. Despite the stinging sensation, a satisfied smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he saw the jewel shard clatter to the ground.
"Gotcha..." InuYasha muttered, a hint of triumph in his voice.
InuYasha braced himself as Yura responded to his actions, his eyes narrowing with determination. Despite the precarious situation and his weakened state, he was ready to face her next move.
Kagome's heart raced as she watched the exchange, her anxiety growing with each passing moment. She wanted to help InuYasha, to do something, but she was still ensconced within his kimono, her view limited. Frustration welled within her, but she knew she couldn't do much from her current position.
Kagome's heart pounded in her chest as she climbed up Yura's hair strands, her mind focused on helping InuYasha. But as she reached the red skull, she found herself ensnared by the strands, her arms and legs tangled in the unyielding grip.
"No...!" Kagome gasped, a mixture of surprise and fear coursing through her. Yura had her dangling in the air, completely at her mercy.
Kagome's heart skipped a beat as Yura brought the sword down to attack, bracing herself for the worst. But to her surprise, the blade didn't cut into her arm or burn her. She looked down and saw that it was the red kimono that was protecting her. A mix of relief and gratitude washed over her, knowing that InuYasha's red kimono was shielding her once again.
