***InuYasha's eyes flicked to the main hair strand, recognition flaring in his eyes. He quickly lunged, his claws aiming for the thicker strand. But before he could reach it, the other strands coiled around him, wrapping around his arms and legs, pinning him in place.
"Dammit!" InuYasha growled, struggling against the tightening hold of the hair.
InuYasha's claws sliced through the main hair strand with a satisfying snap. The moment he cut it, the other strands loosened, the control they had over him broken.
InuYasha shook off the remaining strands, his eyes narrowing as he glanced around the shed, searching for any sign of Yura.
Kagome watched as the hair strands retracted back into the bone eaters well. She clenched her fists, a sense of determination in her eyes.
"Yura must know we're here now..." Kagome said.
Kagome took a deep breath, her mind made up. She approached InuYasha, her expression serious.
"We're going back to your world," Kagome said, the words more of a statement than a question.
InuYasha looked at her, surprise clear in his eyes. He'd expected her to protest or at least hesitate, but instead she seemed determined, her resolve unshaking.
InuYasha's recovered quickly, his face neutral once more.
"You're sure? You want to go back?" InuYasha asks.
Kagome nodded, no trace of uncertainty in her gaze. She met his eyes directly, her voice firm.
"Yes, I'm absolutely sure. I need to be with you, InuYasha, and if that means going back to your world, then so be it." Kagome admits.
As Kagome looked at InuYasha, a mixture of determination and frustration crossed her face.
"You realize this is your fault, right? It's because Yura knows about you, that the hair came to my house!" Kagome went off.
InuYasha grumbled, his ears flattening against his head at her words. He looked away, avoiding her gaze. He knew she had a point but he was too stubborn to admit it outright.
"Hmph, I didn't ask for her to start following me around..." InuYasha muttered, trying to defend himself but knowing it was a weak argument.
Kagome crossed her arms, her gaze unwavering.
"Maybe you didn't ask for it, but you could have been more careful. You know how powerful she is. She clearly has some sort of attachment to you, and now she's going after me because of you." Kagome huffed, her irritation clear.
InuYasha bristled at her words, his pride stung. He was a powerful half-demon, yet a Woman like Yura had managed to get under his skin.
"Hey, I've been careful as I can be. She's just obsessed with me for some stupid reason," InuYasha retorted, his voice a mix of grumbling and annoyance.
Kagome observed InuYasha, her thoughts whirling. Her mind wandered to the possible reasons behind Yura's obsession.
"I wonder why she's so fixated on you," Kagome mused aloud.
"Could it be your hair? Or the shard of the Shikon Jewel..." Kagome said.
InuYasha's ears perked up at the mention of the Shikon Jewel. He hadn't considered that his shard could be the reason for Yura's interest in him.
"Hmm," He muttered, his mind working through the possibilities. "It could be the shard, I guess..." InuYasha said.
Kagome nodded, her mind turning the possibilities over in her head.
