Saturday morning...
I wake up to sun shining through my windows, I look over and Kamala isn't there. I sit up slowly, my body aching a little. And my head is pounding, I look over and grab my phone. I see a message from Bonnie, 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐬𝐤 𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩. I throw my phone on the bed slowly getting up. I walk towards the bathroom taking a shower.
After that I threw on some athletic shorts, a white shirt and I threw on my glasses. I brush my teeth and I grab my purse, phone and key card and head out. I walk down the hall running my hand down my thick curls. I walk past Kamala room seems pretty quiet she might be sleeping. I get on the elevator heading down to the lobby.
I get off the elevator and I see Kamala talking to a few kids and parents. A man stops me and recognizes me. "Well hello there ms Reid, it's nice to see you again". I smile and shake his hand, "it's nice to see you as well". We have a brief conversation, I can feel Kamala staring at me but I don't turn around at all.
I start walking towards the hotel door and I get into the black car that's picking me up.
I made it to Bonnie's resort, I knock on the door three times. She answers, "Heyy tiff come in". I smile and I walk in, I sit down on the couch.
"Hey Bonnie, wow your dress looks amazing. Are they doing the last finish touches?". Bonnie sighs pouring us a glass of champagne. "They have to put all the rhinestones on it". I nod, She hands me a glass and sits next to me.
"Bonnie you know I can't drink, I was super drunk last night". Bonnie laughs, "you're right my bad girl, so I assume you had a great night". I look at her in confusion, "what are you talking about?". Bonnie starts laughing, "I see some love bites on your breasts. Kamala did it huh?". She smirks slightly. I push her shoulder laughing, "I guess she did. I don't remember everything from last night". Bonnie nods. It gets silent for a moment.
"So have you forgave Kamala?". I sigh, shifting in my chair. "Not completely. But I think I should hear her out". Bonnie stares into my soul deeply. "I don't think you should". I'm taken aback from what she said. "Why shouldn't I?". Bonnie doesn't say anything she grabs my face and tries to kiss me. I pull away. "Um". I say while my eyes are wide and I sit there in shock. Bonnie eyes flutter as if she's embarrassed. "Im..I'm so sorry Tiffany". I nod as my heart beats out of my chest.
I look over at my phone, Kamala messaged me. 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐧𝐨𝐰. I sigh and I look at bonnie drink both bottles of champagne. "I gotta head out. Kamala needs me". Bonnie nods slowly, I grab my things and I head out.
I arrive at the restaurant and I don't see anyone. I walk around and I see Kamala rented out a private dinner. I walk over to the table noticing all the flowers, "Omg.. this is beautiful Kamala". Kamala smiles getting up from her chair. She hugs me tightly. "I'm glad you like it baby". I smile at her letting her go, and I sit down in my seat.
"So, why does this special girl deserve all of these flowers and this romantic dinner". I smile, and she laughs. "You're so cheesy". I laugh, I stare into her eyes waiting for her to say something. "This is just me apologizing. About the whole thing with Millie. I didn't invite her to that dinner my colleagues invited the both of us". I nod just listening to her. "So I'm sorry about". I smile at her. "I accept your apology my love". Kamala smiles and places her hand over mine.
Our food arrives, we pull away from each other. We enjoy our meal on the beach. It's silent nothing but waves whooshing around. I clear my throat, "So how's the divorce going?". Kamala eyes meet with mine as she swallow her food. "It's going pretty good. The divorce finalizes in 2 weeks".
