"..Come on."
"Okay, one second..!!" I hollered back, turning my gaze to my mom, who was staring at me with concern but frustration.
"..mom.. I have to go." blush spread across my face.
Mom I have to go to Alex!! You're embarrassing me >:[
She rolled her eyes. "Alright.."
I sped up to my stairs, barely holding on to the rail.
Once I made it to my room, I found Alex sitting to my bed, going through some of the books I had.
(the books are about plants and history by the way!!!)
I LOVE knowledge!!! :D
As I sat in the bed, peering over the book he was reading, he looked up at me.
"..what are you doing??"
A pang of sadness and insecurity hit me.
Why WAS I doing??! :(
"I don't know.. uh.." I pointed to a page of silverweed flowers, smiling faintly.
"What are you reading on..?"
He gazed up to me, giving to a surge of agitated energy.
"Haha, well.. ..what are you interested in?? I've got books on plants, history, uhh.. yeah!!" I giggled awkwardly.
"..uh.. do you-"
"Evelyn!! Come here please!!"
