Once we reached the porch, we went into the living room.
Only my mom sat down at the dinner table, her eyes misty. I noticed she held her cross necklace more than usual..
What was wrong with her? :(
I stand next to her, petting her shoulder awkwardly.
..what do I do ?!???
"..what's wrong..?"
"Nothing..! I just.. uh.. do you think I'm a good person?"
Her eyes met mine almost desperately.
"Yes, mom. You're a good person." I nod as I hold her hand away from her necklace and rest it to the table softly.
"..really..??"
"Yes." :(
Suddenly I noticed it was VERY quiet.
OH YEAH ALEX IS HERE I ALMOST FORGOT !!!
"Hey mom.. ..I gotta check on Alex really quickly."
"Alright."
